Humble advice

Welcome Frogger! My cheap advice is to avoid all contact with them. No phone calls, no letters, no nothing, no stopping into the org to wrap up loose ends, no just stopping by for a short cup of coffee. If they show up, don't answer the door. Literally run away. It's very hard. But worth it. Some of them are experts at getting people just like you to come back in. Trust me on this. It's been done on me and I've done it to others.

Don't give them an inch. They will lie, they will deceive, they will use the very best friend you have and they will use your very decency against you. These are thugs. The worst part is that they really think they are saving you.

Hi Frogger

Welcome to ESMB. I wasted 12 years or so on staff and a total of off-and-on cultism for 35 years. I did their entire so-called "bridge". It goes nowhere.

If they bug you too much, ask for your money back. Oh baby!

That's good to hear. How far did you get on "The Bridge"?

:welcome: :welcome2: Frogger - glad you got out as quickly as you did. :D

The only power the cult has over you is what you let them have - they really try to bully you with THEIR rules and policies but these don't mean anything to the courts or the police.

I love your idea of giving the phone to a two-year-old :hysterical:

Love to hear your story sometime :drama:

But only when you are ready to tell it - take your time and find your feet first :coolwink:

Welcome Frogger!!

I was raised by Scios so of course there was no extra $$$ for us but believe me they were NOT happy to let us go. LOTS of "drop ins" and excessive phone calls. I don't go into too much detail as I have a sibling who signed over their kids to the SO and I don't want them to suffer at all from my "awakening".

I have an elderly relative who is STILL recieving harrassing visits even though the cult has pretty much sucked away anything they could over that person's lifetime (including life ins.) but hey, a body in the shop is still a stat!!!

Yep, you can rest assure that the only reason they are contacting you, is for their benefit, certainly not yours. Tell then there are worse things than having a reactive mind, far worse such as ending up like one of the three people who showed up at your door in the middle of the night.

Sorry Div6 missed the question the first time through. I was still PC when I left $cientology. Funny you should ask that though, it was one of the things they used the last time the called me to try and get me to come back in. I do not remember their exact words but it was basically you are close to clear and could be there soon. Then if you are willing to work hard, (and pay BIG time) you will be OT.
I am thinking so if I work hard and pay a lot I can become something I do not want to be. Were do you sign me up, NOT. That is where I gave the phone to my 2 yr old nephew so the $cientologist could try and convince him. He talked to him for a few minutes before he realized what I had done.
I know, strange sense of humor, but trust me I would not be here without it.

That's ok. Out of desperation to get the calls to cease, I had my kids tell them I was dead. It worked, lol!

It did? Wow. Maybe they had someone new working there.

Paul

No, the kids spoke with several callers from different orgs & on multiple occasions they were asked to confirm it and finally the calls ceased. Even mail
from most of the orgs ceased coming. Persistence paid off.
