I have no problem with your viewpoint whatsoever Pixie or any of the facts you have pointed out.

We would only differ when on the campaign trail against the cofs, where I feel that "criminal" or "terrorist" (especially) as summary descriptions would not be useful weapons in the argument. But informally, no problem.....

But as I have said, that does not deny any criminal and/or abusive acts they have performed which should all be employed to expose them.

That's just my view on the matter....

So what are you saying here then? We are not trying to use descriptions as 'weapons', we are asking if we think it's a criminal organization, so one either sees it as a criminal organization, or one does not. If you think that throwing human beings overboard or locking children in a tiny room for weeks with little food or water is not criminal, I am just trying to understand how anyone could think this way. That is just my view on the matter. I am a little confused as to what you are trying to say here.

It's a complex thing. You have a psychotic bully with his odd little clan running an organization populated by lots of very good and caring people but with total sleaze bags mixed in. Very weird. At least with a mafia everybody knows they're in a mafia.

I don't think you should talk about Alanzo that way.

:batseyelashes: Why thank you Alanzo.. 'baby'..

It's different up here, isn't it?

You can look down and see all the littler statens, rushing here, rushing there. They look like ants.

And you, from your lofty position, can see that all they want is status.

You have it, and they don't.

It's so deeply satisfying, isn't it?

Congratulations on making "Silver Meritorious Patron" Status on the ESMB Bridge to Total Status. :hamster:

Would you like to say a few words?

Thanks for all your help and answers on here. I wasn't quite certain what to expect, or if I should even post, but I'm glad that I did.

After reading for hours on end, I've noticed that most, if not all, of the people here cited the fact that they wanted to help others/make a difference as a main reason for joining Scientology. I do not doubt the truth of that whatsoever. But, that being the motivation, why choose Scientology? They don't have a great track record for helping others or making a difference. There are countless other organizations out there that do have a great track record. Why not join the Christian church, which has roughly 400,000 missionaries worldwide who have a well-established record of impact. Why not join the Red Cross? Peace Corps? There are literally thousands of groups tailored to match specific areas of concern and conviction. What about Scientology convinced you that you could do the most good with them?

I was recruited through their business Front group WISE, and I had never heard of scientology. I only heard of 'scientology' later when the front group 'WISE' conveniently introduced it to me and then i found out that 'WISE' is scientology but by then I was hooked.
