Fundamantal inconsistency concerning Scientology ethics and justice

Yes. I was just kidding around. Actually, I noticed the same contradiction when I did the Dir I&R hat years ago.

L Ron was a master manipulator with words. Words and writing were his forte. Couldn't agree with you more, though I don't know how I lived with that contradiction at the time. I think I told myself a lot of people were writing for him. Oh well. :duh:

Actually, when I was studying the new ITSE course in the EPF, I noticed many things, and particularly the following:

When the tech of Ethics isn't known, justice becomes an end-all in itself. And that just degenerates into a sadism. Governments, because they don't understand ethics, have "ethics committees" but these are all worded in the framework of justice. They are even violating the derivation ofthe word ethics. They write justice over into ethics continuously with medical ethics committees, psychological ethics committees, Congressional committees, etc. These are all on the basis of justice because they don't really know what ethics is. They call it ethics but they initiate justice actions and they punish people and make it harder for them to get their own ethics in.

(I don't know the original references though.)

It caused MU on my part, but I wanted so badly to go to my post to the translation unit in TU EU that I didn't care much. It was a sort of "I'll get that cleared with experience". So, yes, I got that experience. Things like "ethics conditions" could be considered a pure ethics tech, but in the Org justice is so inseparably entangled into them that again we end up with justice actions.

Originally I though that the following:

I have found that Man cannot be trusted with justice. The truth is, Man cannot really be trusted with "punishment." With it he does not really seek discipline, he wreaks injustice. He dramatizes his inability to get his own ethics in by trying to get others to get their ethics in: I invite you to examine what laughingly passes for "justice" in our current society.

wouldn't be a problem in CoS, after all those people are getting rid of their aberrations... It didn't work on the local level, so maybe in the Sea Org. Then I found out that it applies to CoS too, and particularly to the Sea Org, because people there are not "wogs", they're worse than "wogs", they're too often brainwashed bozos. And I found that attitude in scientologists outside Co$ too, more often than I would prefer.
