What's new

Geir Isene has a new Natterboard!

If you think that I would take anything you write seriously, you are gravely mistaken :coolwink:

That's the spirit!

I see you were finally able to intend Jim to give up the Approve Button, and a super-serious meeting of the TSF Supreme Council was held over my Socrates Reply to Maria.

After much debate and hand-wringing, with all the moderators gathered on the assembly room floor, and over the protests of many, I'm dubbing-in that you cast the dramatic final vote to go ahead and publish the Socrates Reply to Maria onto the board.

The shock waves of that will ring throughout the universe, all the way into the upper rafters of Eternity.

And no one will be the same.

Way to go, Geir.

You add value. When you behave, the value rises from a fractional number to a number with an integral part above 0. And the sky is the limit. You are definitely not lacking in intelligence.

Read the relevant posts that incurred Veda's wrath, Vin (#351, 354, 355).

Alanzo, Zinj and I were playing with each other, at least, I was playing. Veda has butted in on a reply addressed specifically to Zinj and did his usual must-refute regarding my post. He's accusing me of being flip about the harm scn has caused by using some mental gymnastics to give it a meaning it NEVER had, it's a strawman argument.

He likes to do that on some things I say here, complete with the usual ad hom zingers about me being OT8, History Of Man, his 'It must not be easy being one of the few that "made it"' comments and continuing to forward his fixed idea that I'm still a scientologist.

It's called "picking a fight", I'm not interested.

Sorry, I butted in too. I regret that.

My latest realization is here:

http://www.forum.exscn.net/showpost.php?p=329267&postcount=147

I am nowhere near operating on this realization, but it gives my a direction to move toward.

Correct interpretation of Bible has a lot to teach me. :)

Ensuring balance

On a serious not, I would like anyone here posting on TSF to give me notice directly in case you feel unfairly treated by any moderators there. TSF is in its very early formative stages, and I would like to iron out any unfairness as early as possible. Thanks.

Wow.

I'm tellin' ya.

This dude is awesome. Didn't I tell you he was awesome?

I did. I said that Geir Isene was awesome. And this, right here, proves I was right!

So it's not really about how awesome Geir is, it's about how right I was about him!

And I was. So don't you forget it!

It’s bound to take time for everything to bed in and everyone to get used to their roles. So don't worry too much about what others think.

On a personal note – am I the only one to get yellow-carded so far?

I do hope so. I’m a real badass – and don’t any of you forget it!

Then let me ask Isene if he disagrees with KSW1 regarding Hubbard claiming himself to be sole source of Dianetics and Scientology.

If not, then my original assumption would have been correct in spite of Isene contesting it.

Hubbard will have said or wrote something that resembles the answer that you consider to be desirable or "acceptable." An answer that corresponds with that can be given (if one is ever given).

Hubbard manipulated and PRed his own followers, and his followers were expected to PR themselves and to PR outsiders.

It's interesting to observe the enchantment of Scientologists at his (1959) "Magic spell" quote. More people have fallen under Hubbard's spell by way of quotes of that sort than by way of more intimidating "Your next endless trillions of years, agonized future," etc.-type quotes.

Ol' John Sanborn called Hubbard a "trickster" for a reason.

It's odd seeing the trickery of Scientology used on Scientologists still and, then, Scientologists using (with some degree of cognizance) that same tricksterism on others.

When one steps outside the Scientological tricksterism, being the effect of it oneself or using it on others, one graduates from Scientology.

To eager Scientologists: Now, don't scamper off in search of a more quotes by Hubbard about how his purpose was to guide people to a state of being free of Scientology - please. :duh:

After 1 week, I have to say that I am very impressed with The Scientology Forum.

If this is the kind of thing that reform brings, then I have a whole lot of hope for Scientology, and Scientologists.

I don't know what Ax's "yellow card" was or when it was, but I claim the first one on Geir's forum when I was told (as "Earthling") that saying Ron "didn't have a particularly good track record of telling the truth" was an adHom attack on Ron! :duh:

I figured the best way I could punish you was to not give you a yellow card. Easy. :p
