I would hope they had flood insurance...and continuation of income. But since their income was less than impressive that might not help.

I hope no one was hurt... but .... maybe they will just let it go. We can only hope.

I have been seeing ads for the "referral service" - what a crock.

Oh shit. Scientology finally discovered crowd funding. This is bad. Real bad.

Hopefully they still don't understand the Streisand effect.

Scientology isn't about crowdfunding. Why go to the trouble of trying to appeal to hundreds of people when all you need is one rich fool? Some kool-aid drinking penniless clam who thinks that Scientology has millions of members has suggested crowdfunding, and nobody had the nerve to tell her that there isn't a crowd... but this will be a classic whale-funding scam as usual.

A fool and his money are soon [STRIKE]parted[/STRIKE] audited.

What, no flood insurance? Or maybe the jerks are using this opportunity to siphon more money out of the sheeple while collecting the insurance payout also.

Narconon under water? WHAT??

Why didn't they just call the local OT Committee and arrange for the water not to affect them?

Good Question. I'll try answering it, but first I must do a "Marcabian mind-meld" in order to adopt the knowingness of a KSW Scientologist...

:violent: :banghead: :splat:

...OK, here goes:

"Just as the X-Men (mutants) are always being persecuted and harassed by non-mutants, because of their special abilities, Scientologists likewise must be very careful

and pan-determined, so as not to overwhelm wogs with overt displays of their OT powerz." :bwahaha: :hysterical:

Where is the IAS??

Narconon Louisiana went under. Literally. Drowned in the recent flooding.

They started a Go Fund Me page to try and collect money to clean the place up and get operating again. They claim to need $75,000 (and in 13 days managed $11,520).

$75,000 is pocket change for the IAS.

The IAS repeatedly claims they support Narconon and take credit for all sorts of Narconon “accomplishments” (like reduced the rate of drug addiction 175% in Burkina Faso or whatever…).

They say they support people in times of natural disaster — if you listen to them they pretty much single-handedly put New Orleans back together after Hurricane Katrina and every other disaster subsequently.

Here is what went down.

The people that own the Louisiana center also manage and kind of own the one in clearwater.

When the flood happened they took all the students and drove them to the clearwater facility and housed them in the extra spaces with the exception of one VIP who was taken to arrowhead instead.

The claim was that the IAS was going to help $ to rebuild it...lol, IAS pay? ROFL

30 students at 30 grand a pop plus all the money they have in reserves...yup, no way after 12 years they could have ANY MONEY to help rebuild their own fucking center...go fund me bitches.
