Going Clear nominated for seven Emmys

From the statement by COS (Crimewave of Scientology) spokesperson Karen Pouw:

"
Because Alex Gibney ran from any facts that got in the way of his preconceived story line and ignored all our efforts to communicate (over 40 letters and 25 people who requested to meet with Mr. Gibney), we have compiled the unvarnished truth in the form of video footage, court documents, publicly available records and testimonials by pertinent individuals and parishioners worldwide who do represent Scientology, and were intentionally ignored by Mr. Gibney and HBO. All of it 100% accurate. Alex Gibney spins this as 'smears'.” We call it the truth he ignored.

Dear "Karen Pouw" (who is really the terrified cult dictator David Miscavich pretending to have a dauntless & defiant spokesperson):

Now that you bring up "court documents" and "testimony" and the "25" witnesses who requested to meet with Mr. Gibney, let's use your legal sounding logic. Suppose this was not you hysterically spewing lies about a whistleblowing, award winning documentary film. Let's assume it was, in fact, a criminal trial. . .

In that case your logic truly SCOHB!

Because, Alex Gibney would be the state's PROSECUTOR, presenting evidence of your crimes.

And further, because Alex Gibney would be calling eyewitnesses to your crimes.

And then, you (as the DEFENSE LAWYER, defending yourself in trial) would be bitterly complaining to the judge and the media that the PROSECUTOR did not follow your orders and call your hand-selected, coached and drilled 25 cult perjurers to the witness stand so they could fill the courtroom with lies, acceptable truths, shore stories and other TR-L driven perversions.

Hey Miscavige! Wake up! Your magic OT powers don't work out here in the real world where PROSECUTORS and INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALISTS and DOCUMENTARY FILMMAKERS are allowed to call their own witnesses, not yours.

And, in a real trial, when Gibney the PROSECUTOR calls a dozen witnesses to testify, you don't get to refuse to allow him to put them on the witness stand--the way you refused to allow Gibney to meet with and interview all the cult witnesses he requested for the documentary. Remember that, Miscavige, when you stonewalled and ordered your obedient blinkless little OT zombies to not talk to Gibney?

And, hey Miscavige, remember when Gibney repeatedly (over more than a year) requested that you give your side of the story--but you instead hid like a coward and had "spokespersons" issue statements that you were too busy saving the planet to be interviewed for the documentary?

So, you had your chance to let Gibney interview you and the top COS executives. But you ran away, just like Hubbard did in his BlueBird motorhome.

And now you cry that you were not given a chance?

A chance to put your HSLPs (Hubbard Standard Lying Perjurers) on the witness stand without cross examination.

LOL LOL LOL!

HELPFUL TIP: Next lifetime try not being a lying pompous cult clown that the world is laughing at.

As time goes on the responses by the cult get more frantic & crazy sounding.

I just love that they are compelled by their own insanity to just keep digging faster & deeper on the hole they are in - they can't help it, they HAVE to keep digging.

Hubbard's beloved "tech" they must follow is so insanely inapplicable to anything but it's own destruction.

Moar popcorn - soon it'll be ceak for all !

And nothing says "We Are a Religion" like smear webpages. I agree with posts -- DM has lost it. Thus, I must buy Karin a pizza for writing it 1,000 times over.

Hubbard's family does not benefit from the wimpy sales of his sci-fi, which is really telling. Everything went to him, and although his last quickie-do Will which is highly questionable ("signed" with a thumbprint), he was never one to be good to any of his family, blood or marriage.

FYI, actually nearly every Hubbard owned or copyrighted Sci-Fi authored work copyrighted by Hubbard before his death, or those previously copyrighted on his behalf to Bridge Pubs or Author Services, were eventually transferred to 1 of the 2 Author Services trusts ( A & B ) which had been set up as estate holding entities until all such assets were legally transferred to CST as copyright holder.

Similar steps were taken to transfer all Scientology and Dianetics materials over to CST.. the mechanics of which I never bothered to research. As well as other assets Hubbard owned at time of death.

This was all done, apparently per, the dictates of his will. The legal trail documents that the Trusts and CST went through all this and it took some years to do. Several copyrighted Sci-Fi items were later found to have not been included and were then transferred over to CST as found.

The evidence of this is in the US copyright records database, which can be found here. A search by Name makes it easier to see, as well as by a specific title of one of his Sci-Fi ( Fiction books )
http://cocatalog.loc.gov/cgi-bin/Pwebrecon.cgi?DB=local&PAGE=First

Some of his family still hold copyrights of some Scientology & related stuff.. for example Mary Sue Hubbard, Diana Hubbard ( and as Diana Merdith DeWolf Hubbard )

And I think that these noted as being from 2004 are perhaps part of the supposed negotiated settlements, as mentioned on the internet which the family had with the estate.

But, yes, since family were unimportant to him, and love and emotion he failed to share beyond that of himself for himself, he probably transferred much as possible elsewhere, to keep his 'legacy' and control of his insane creation
