Has Tom Cruise quit scn?

I told you I was trouble

Lol! I remember a time when many of us would have cared (42 views at this point and not even a "like").

Cruise is the reason so many became fascinated by scientology, I clearly remember my children coming home from school one day, very excited because they had just found out that Cruise was a scientologist, my heart sank because even back in those days I was seriously disillusioned and was quietly under the radar, hoping to be forgotten about by the scruffy, clipboard clutching weirdos who used to bang on my front door (uninvited) every now and then attempting to drag me back into the cult.

Back then I had been deliberately (but carefully) discouraging my children from getting involved at all ... like so many of us I had needed to be "careful" because my ex was actively trying to do the opposite and (to my horror) had started the indoctrination when they were tiny and was actually taking them to events and into the org, which they had hated ... until the day they found out that Cruise was in, everything changed that day.

Cruise has been blatantly used and made a fool of by the greedy goblin (AKA COB) and he has willingly done more harm than just about anyone else by becoming his recruiter and ignoring the abuse that he knows is so much a part of the scientology that non celebs get.

As far as I can see the only reason anyone keeps up the cult enforced pretense (long after they must have realised scientology is a sick and twisted joke) is because they will personally lose more than they will gain by being honest with the public they previously conned!

He will always remain a complete knob in my estimation whether he leaves or stays ... he could have left a decade or so ago and I would have cheered and maybe even done a few cartwheels in his honour, these days I couldn't care less if I tried, the damage done (due to eventual disconnection) is irreversible and he is very much a part of the reason it happened.

That was beautiful, Trouble, and I wholeheartedly agree. The more Tom shills the more people are turned off.

The Matt Lauer fiasco was a complete PR failure and Scientology lauded it. Oprah's couch...his "deadly serious" video where only Scientologists can help in an accident...that hubcap medal to the World's Most Dedicated Scientologist...

Which makes me think of these two images...

As much as I'd like to believe this and I'd welcome it enormously, I seriously doubt that TC has left his BFF for his daughter.

No OT is going to let a family member stand in the way of the Greatest Good etc. etc. ad nauseum. That's what gossip mags don't get and probably never will. But having TC on the cover next to $cientology sure sells copies.

I seriously doubt that Cruise has ANY relationship with his daughter, altho' I hope I'm wrong about that.

.

Because of this unethical thread, Mr. Cruise is going to come down here and slam everyone's ethics in!

And don't doubt he can do it!

He is on record stating that he ruthlessly slams his own ethics in.

Imagine that!

He slams his own ethics in, but supports, enables & facilitates two of the greatest criminal frauds & charlatans of the past 500 years; L. Ron Hubbard and David Miscavige.

This is Scientology. These are ideal Scientologists. They are saving the planet. Just don't ask them to demonstrate even one (1) person that they actually saved, because they'll only start doing a clay demo of it.

I could only listen to the first three minutes of that. What a pile of poop.

Apparently the story hinges around Tom not being present at the opening of a recent Ideal Org. It seems like this magazine's writer doesn't realise he doesn't turn up for any of these openings!

They also said he was being groomed to take over from David Miscavige - oh please, my sides are splitting.:hysterical:

Yeah, that kind of story is just "click bait" deluxe, with a strawberry (celebrity) on top.

However, the incredibly stupid speculation that Cruise is being groomed to take over COB's post is so stupid that it could be true. This is Scientology we are talking about, LOL.

More likely, in a power grab, I am still betting that NOI power-grinners are going to be right there in the mad scramble for the reigns of the multi-billion dollar cult if COB suddenly hits the road in his BlueBird motorhome.

That's all my dull thinking can anticipate. NOI vs. Cruise vs. church lawyers. Anyone else going to be trying to "rise above" the average-run-of-the-mill-cult-zombie-parishioners to take control? Maybe just the ones I mentioned and perhaps Billy Blowdown. LOL

Cruise is mostly dependent upon whatever script he's handed.
Not enough of an improvisor to think on the fly and run any organization.
He's still following his life script as handed to him from the grave by famous failed film maker and wanna be band leader extraordinaire, drum roll please, ElRon Hubbard!
They'd just have to script him to smile at the podium and jump from sofa's while parroting old dusty ElRon rhetoric, there I used the word, from old green teeth himself.

Yeah... I don't believe fake news stories from scandal tabloids.
Apparently this person does?

I didn't see any of Tom's films until I'd already had auditing (in the FZ) and it was a while after that before I even knew he was a Scientologist so it didn't significantly affect my opinion of him, at least not at first. I'd already had knowledge of a high profile entertainment celebrity who'd joined another group I had exposure to in my home city, so I saw Tom in much the same light.

The question I have to ask about Cruise is; how much does he actually know? I've no doubt that Miscavige has got enough sense to conceal the worst of the abuses from him, but he surely can't conceal everything. At the very least, he knows about disconnection and the effect it has on families because of his own relationship with Suri.

I can't see what he would have to gain by leaving.
He is still working despite his affiliation with Scientology. He seems to be floating unscathed above the Aftermath fall out. If he wanted to maintain a relationship with his youngest daughter in secret, would his cult master do anything to him? Can't see it happening to Sci's Golden Child.
He gets his ego stroked as a spiritual superbeing to augment the stroking from his regular international celeb status.
His family is in. If his life isn't broken, why fix it?

IMO it would take a personal disaster that would have to shake him to the core to prompt a crisis of faith and conscience. Even then...

Excellent! Nothing says it quite like that.
I could hear the sabre ratting it's way out of its sheath, long, razor sharp, ripping and thrusting...
Cruise needs to clay demo how one's fake religion can become one's main ser fac.
He would totally lose face if he ever came clean on it, or so he's certain.

If you fuzzed out the facial details this could appear to be the prelude to one rather vile, demented porno...
Sparky the seal claps just like that during the show over at Sea World!

This kind of story comes out periodically, often when he’s going to release a movie. It’s a wonderful pipe dream, in my opinion. Let’s see him do something similar to what Ms.Remini is doing.
What amazes me is that this video has had 147,032 views in the past week.

If Tom allows this type of "news" to get out prior to a movie release, where did "I am ruthless with my own ethics" go?

We would get declared for using scn in a bad light for personal profit.

This quote is from Tony Ortega's blog:

So hey, why is this story showing up now? Former top Scientology spokesman Mike Rinder — whose job it was to handle Scientology’s media — says it’s obvious to him that stories like this are planted with tabloids to improve Tom’s image before the opening of a big movie.

If that’s the case, then they are the ones responsible for relentlessly reminding the public that he doesn’t see his daughter... weirdos... great diplomacy.
