Has Tom DeVocht made peace with the church?

Crosspost from WWP:

A declared independent Scientologist Tom DeVocht (former husband of Jenny Linson) who appeared on Anderson Cooper and interviewed with the St. Pete Times about the physical violence David Miscavige incurred on him and others...

Has started a new company in the Clearwater area with another ex-church member, Allison Andrus, called New Innovations Marketing LLC.

http://sunbiz.org/pdf/10397751.pdf

The agent of process for his new company is a well-known corporate attorney for Scientology and David Miscavige - Robert E. Johnson.

I doubt if he's gone back in. Alison Andrus is an outie too. Look at their Facebook accounts.

Perhaps he retained the church's lawyer just in case the church decides to sue him. In which case the CoS would be the one looking for a new lawyer and the defending lawyer would have good knowledge of his adversary.

Maybe :confused2:

Perhaps the lawyer is no longer in scientology. To my knowledge, nothing recent on him as a member was posted at WWP. 2007/2008 and nothing further.
A lot can happen in 2 years! Someone on DeVocht's facebook needs to ask him what's up on the lawyer.

Tom DeVocht was pretty clear in his statements on AC 360.

After his statements there (and with his viewpoint, "you can put me on a lie detector if you want"), I believe, NO money can buy him back into $cn.

imho

There is a very good chance that Robert E. Johnson is no longer involved with the cult, anyone who legally represented Miscavige gets to experience first hand just how dysfunctional the cult really is.

then again all lawyers are scum sucking bottom dwelers and would take money from anyone who is willing to give it to them. Tom D was the COCMOCW for a nuber of years and her could have known this name from then.

Naw \, I like that OSA set him up for it better! :coolwink:

As noted in the ESMB thread IS Independent’s Day Weekend, and as set forth in the original Marty thread Independent’s Day Weekend, Tom DeVocht not only attended the IS Independent's Day, he was specifically thanked by Mike and Christie:
Special thanks are in order for a number of people who went out of their way to help make the weekend a success (in no particular order): The James gang, Tiziano and Jamie Lugli, Karen DeLaCarriere, Michael Laws, Shannon and Hiro Kimoto, Just Me, Steve Hall (who designed the new logo for the Independents and two celebratory banners as well as being the “official” photographer), Jack Airey (for getting the banners and flag produced), Jan Weiss, Tom and Mary Jo DePhillips, Veritas, Bruce Pratt (and Bruce deserves a special nod for driving to and from Tampa airport a dozen times as the unofficial “official” driver), Silvia Kusada, Gary (Jackson) Moorehead, Natalie & Brad Hagemo, Alison Andrus and Tom Devocht, John Nunez (“Chief” official photographer), JB, Jim Logan, Sam Domingo, Jackie & Paul B, Sofie Lefebre, and Laura Pino-Lopez.

I'd like to remind readers that I started the thread as a question, and not a declaration of fact that Tom deVocht returned to the church. Judging from the comments & PMs I've received here (but mostly on WWP), people don't know the meaning of a question mark when it follows a sentence.

I don't think anyone took it otherwise than as a question here, Smurf, I know I didn't.
That being said, we're spectacular at speculatin'.
