Has started a new company in the Clearwater area with another ex-church member, Allison Andrus, called New Innovations Marketing LLC.

Perhaps he retained the church's lawyer just in case the church decides to sue him. In which case the CoS would be the one looking for a new lawyer and the defending lawyer would have good knowledge of his adversary.

Perhaps the lawyer is no longer in scientology. To my knowledge, nothing recent on him as a member was posted at WWP. 2007/2008 and nothing further.
A lot can happen in 2 years! Someone on DeVocht's facebook needs to ask him what's up on the lawyer.

I'd like to remind readers that I started the thread as a question, and not a declaration of fact that Tom deVocht returned to the church. Judging from the comments & PMs I've received here (but mostly on WWP), people don't know the meaning of a question mark when it follows a sentence.
