His legal rep tried, unsuccessfully to get his passport back that he used to enter Australia. Interesting though he has two current passports, slight difference in the names. The whereabouts of the second isn't known.

He is currently the subject of a criminal stay visa. Used to keep him in the country while the investigation continues. He doesn't seem happy about this, funnily enough.

Marc Arrighi arrived in India, after the 2004 Tsunami for a humanitarian mission. As soon as this one has been finished, he decided to settle down in Pondicherry. So he launched Galactica, a company of purifying water in Pondicherry and Tamil Nadu.

Can you explain to us what has been your career before your settlement in Pondicherry?

I have always worked for helping organizations. In France, I was the president of a prevention association against the use of drugs, calling “No to drugs, Yes to life”, it is important to notice that this association is officially recognized by the UNO. In the same time, I was a professional motorbike driver for the world endurance championship like the 24H du Mans. But after the 2004 Tsunami, which reached until Tamil Nadu, I came on the field to help villages to reorganize themselves. Then once the operations have been finished, I decided to stay in Pondicherry.

What kind of difficulties have you been faced during your settlement?

Adapting oneself to a new civilization very different is not something always easy. Here the habits and values are radically different from what we know, so sometimes you don’t have to understand them and sometimes you don’t have to agree with them. It is difficult to find the right balance. Concerning the daily management of Indian workers, you learn to become more human than in France. In India, contacts are friendlier, so you have to keep some distance but in the same time being very friendly, because life is hard for everybody here. The constraints are very different as well, the mechanical ones particularly! So it involves to foresee longtime before, in order to get enough stock and to be ready to react quickly in case of any kind of problems.

I feel the court might be interested in recent Narconon hearings in Georgia, which led judge to pronounce severest possible sanction for perjury. Same story: the only crime in their eyes is to get caught.

I doubt very much that scientology will even get a mention in this case. It's about Arrighi and his actions, not scientology.

Agreed, the case has nothing to do with Scientology EXCEPT that its conduct will rest on the attitude of Scientologists to the law.

KSW affects the value of Arrighi's testimony and the testimony given by all his buddies, who are ALL Scientologists of the deepest dye. It explains why he did what he did by way of interfering with evidence.

Courts are unprepared to find that those accused of barefaced criminal actions are not impressed by any need to tell the truth, that they tell lies more easily, that they have an agenda to KSW which is not shared by normal people including the judges.

This view of Scientology evidence as 100 per cent BS and Scientologists as criminals who lie and lie and lie is beginning to get around in the world. It is important that it does.

Thank you very much for the information. This is the reference I was using but got nowhere. So it seems they are stringing it out with legal formalities and the main case is still held over from last year? A criminal case, I am glad to see. So on to 4 April.

I would be very unhappy if this OTVIII got away with perverting justice but who knows what a court might do?

Marc is better known in Scientology circles outside the US but he is a Big Being. So on to 4 April.

(Scientology brings out the worst in me. )

The case is not showing up in that database because there are no more hearings or mentions scheduled for it. It's obviously closed. I then tried to locate the results of the case... without any luck. Had it been appealed and decided, it would be found here

I guess he snuck out using his spare passport, or disguised as a minister.

Someone in Wolongong must know what happened on 4 April. I searched but nothing came up.
