How Hubbard created a 100% workable technology

So then what your argument comes down to is plain advertising. Normal everyday advertising does all of what you complain about above in Hubbard.

Except "normal advertising" doesn't produce, billion year contracts, overboarding, child SO contracts, enforced abortions, disconnection, etc.

You probably don't want to, but most people would want to ask themselves what it was that Hubbard did to plant such suggestions and get such results in his disciples.

Although an ad for KFC may use suggestion, I don't think the old dead Colonel has quite managed to do the things old Commodore Hubbo did! :D

But Leon, it is ok for you to believe what you believe, really it is.

As your regular percentage of winners continue to win, you get them to pledge larger and larger sums of money in order to continue winning. Make sure they never see the bigger picture, make sure they never really know the huge numbers of failures and just like the lady backing the horses, they will believe that Ron has a 100% workable system because it is working for them and they judge it by their experience, because for them that is the only really real reality.
Brilliant post!

Excellent post! I totally agree.
Luckily I wasn't born into it, though other family members were. The effect on generations of a family is indescribable.
Sorry I didn't get back to this before. Thank you for the comments about my earlier post. Yeah, the effect on generations is incredible. I am glad I could break the chain. I have a kid, and my Scn relatives keep on insisting he should study Scn. I say no every time. Even after I routed out from the SO and ranted about the crap that went on inside, my mother had the guts to say my son should join the SO. Hell will freeze over before I allow that. He's growing as a stable, able, caring, and compassionate person. I don't want to change that. I don't want him to be a robot of the church, and I don't want him to EVER go through the sh**t I had to go through (and still going through). NO WAY.

Sorry, I had to vent some steam.

Vent away! I have some stories I wish I could tell fully, and one day will. Oh hell...I'll tell one. One of my children did the PTS/SP course and had such wins she was recruited on the spot. The trouble was that she was at an AO, and they sent her to the local org. The moment she walked in the door she freaked and wanted out. There was no way she wanted to work there, she had just loved the atmosphere of the AO.

Then came two days of hell. She was locked in with Ethics writing up non existant O/Ws for why 'she wanted to leave' - when she hadn't even started!! She was a physical and emotional wreck and when she told me what happened I refused to let her go back. I can't describe the emotional toll all that took, and the effects on a teenager with life problems (which was why she did the course in the first place.) It was hell on earth. She was even told that she had past life overts on that org and needed to confront it. :omg:

My kids can't stand Scientology and that is totally their own decisions from what they witnessed. When another daughter was targeted for recruitment she just refused outright to even talk to them. Good! I regret not having felt capable at that time to state my real views to all my family. Sigh. I was too scared of total disconnection, including from my (now ex) husband.

It's ok now though. :)

I love religions. In another religion it is written;

"What you know you learned! If you didn't learn it you don't know it"!

Perhaps Leon has an MU on; billion year contracts, over boarding, child SO contracts, enforced abortions, disconnection, etc. and the 'Source' of all of that as an implementation method for coercing the 'Luna’s tech' in.

Or perhaps its all an illusion and all that doesn't really happen?

Or maybe he's just keeping his TR's in while ignoring the reality of it?

Whatever the tech from the many givith, :) the policy of a single one's mindset taketh away.

Most of the life changing 'wins' I experienced were from scenarios played out this lifetime. To 'plant' any suggestion to someone is 'Implantology'!

I'm sorry your daughter had to go through that. Unfortunately it was a common practice among recruiters to pull that kind of crap on "prospects". It is with shame that I admit I did it too. For some time I was a recruiter and the generalized idea among us was that if a person didn't want to join it was due to their overts, not only against scn or the org, but against mankind.

Some of us had the idea that was OK to make the person feel so bad and caved-in about not joining that they would sign just to "mend their ways" and not feel such a great "overt" because they didn't want to be in staff. I truly regret I did this to many good people. It was "justifiable" because we were "saving the planet" and making sure that KSW was applied all the way. Crap. I'm not proud of it. But it does feel better now that it's off my chest.
