So then what your argument comes down to is plain advertising. Normal everyday advertising does all of what you complain about above in Hubbard.
Except "normal advertising" doesn't produce, billion year contracts, overboarding, child SO contracts, enforced abortions, disconnection, etc.
You probably don't want to, but most people would want to ask themselves what it was that Hubbard did to plant such suggestions and get such results in his disciples.
Although an ad for KFC may use suggestion, I don't think the old dead Colonel has quite managed to do the things old Commodore Hubbo did!
