HUBBARD as a SEXUAL PREDATOR & PERVERT

Oh, the fun, the fun...

Mission into Time...what's all that stuff about buried treasure? Hubbard was obsessed with it.

First, he goes on a little film expedition to find pirate stuff.

Next, he does the Puerto Rico "Mineral" expedition.

Next, he digs up gold on his Maryland farm.

Then he skips out of town on the rocket man with Sara Northrup...no doubt to look for treasure.

***Please note - no doubt Parsons read about this "indefinite" scheme and came running to Florida because Ron was supposed to buy yachts low in Florida and sell them high in Cali and not go sailing into pirate lore.

Then he did the Cecil Rhodes debacle.

When that failed he then...established the Sea Project.

Does this sound like an adult or a little boy?

Remember the Mission Earth stuff?

Ever read that?

Somewhere on here I think Veda has some of Ron's "poems" from the series.

Here's some commentary from Robert Vaughn Young.

About the only other amusing moment I can remember is the woman who was
retyping the manuscript (for the publisher's proofs) who had to quit at
around Book 4 or 5 because of the necrophilia. She found it very
upsetting. I don't know what happened to her but no one was allowed to
find anything Hubbard wrote to be disgusting, so there were some crude
remarks about her "confront" and wondering what "hidden overts" [hidden
crimes] she had committed on Hubbard to say such things.

She should have seen what was in his unpublished writings, especially the
ones with his drawings of penises and vulvas.

Perverted much? You read it and decide.

When Ron was supposed to be writing up OT IX and X and doing research so advanced that it required him to Causatively drop his bod he was actually writing these skanky novels absolutely dripping with pre-adolescent homoerotica and all sorts of deviant behavior.

hmm.. So Hubturd had a cabin with a bathtub in it.. But I'm surprised that the CMO girl does?

This was early 80's, so I'm thinking that it happened after the ship days but before the motor-home days. I think there was a point where LRH was living in the Fort Harrison penthouse area, or maybe the Hemet days.

Somehow I missed this one, matey. Aaaaaaaarrrgh.

Miller relates how that winter was one of Montana’s worst in memory, and there was still snow on the ground when, on May 4, 1928, there was an annual local event, the Vigilante Day Parade, that Ron attended dressed as a pirate.

I also looked high and low for the story of Ron's claims of coming from a long line of pirates...IDK if it was Nibs or who said it but read it I did.

Ron didn't want to grow up. Ron wanted to be a pirate.

Good post:thumbsup:

Ron was an AHDD kid - he couldn't fix his mind in choosing one costume - he wanted them all and couldn't stick to one character :confused2:

Considering all the bank accounts him and his mateys looted I would say he never was anything else

I've been reading a biography of Robert Heinlein, a science fiction writer who was friends with LRH starting back in the 1940's. Google Books allows one to pick out all the references to Hubbard (although I haven't figured out how to copy/paste them here)

Clicking on the above link, and going to result 15, it appears Hubbard had an affair with Heinlein's first wife, Leslyn. Heinlein and Leslyn had an open marriage at the time, so no big deal. Heinlein was more unhappy about Hubbard bringing booze into the house at a time when Heinlein's wife was dealing with alcoholism.

Result 21 talks about a point where "the Heinleins had taken in another one of Hubbard's discarded ex-girlfriends -- Vida Jameson". This was at the time when Hubbard decided to run off with Sara Northrop. The implication was that Hubbard was fairly busy with women during the 40's

Result 27 mentions an accusation by Heinlein's wife Leslyn that Heinlein and Hubbard had a gay affair of some sort.

Going to volume 2 of the bio, result 1 covers the release of "Dianetics evolution of a science" and the birth of Alexis to Hubbard and Sara Northrop.

Some other results go into LRH's Wichita organization and Dianetics

If something can't be downloaded or pasted then you can take screen shots, then put them together on the monitor and take a screen shot of them together.

what in hell are you talking about....'screen shots'....

Back to whatever it is
I think that Hubbard was many-faceted. I don't doubt for a minnit that he indulged Himself in Sexual Escapades of any and all sorts.
I think he was burned out and impotent by his late 50s
I think he could fantasize and write stories about it, but he couldn't do it.
I think he thought of Women as Chattel.
I think he was what I think of as " Intellectually Abusive".
I think that the Pleasure that he could give himself would surpass that given by another/others.

"A screen shot (sometimes called a screen capture or screen grab) is an image of a computer desktop that can be saved as a graphics file. Various programs are available for creating screen shots, but it is easy to do without any special program.

To take a screen shot on a Windows platform , first press the Print Screen button (usually on the top row of the keyboard). The screen shot is copied to the clipboard, the memory area that temporarily stores information. The image then has to be pasted into a document in a word processing program such as Word or into an image editor, such as Adobe Photo Shop. (The mouse cursor is not included in the image.) To get a shot of the active window only, press the Alt key and the Print Screen key at the same time.

On a Macintosh platform, press the Command, Shift, and numeral three keys together to create an image file."

Hubbard fits his own description of 1.1, too ?

Bringing alcohol into the home where a person is struggling with alcoholism is more than sort of classless. Motive ?

According to Hubbard's butler Ken Urquhart, when they lived at Saint Hill Manor Hubbard used to buy Mary Sue's clothes for her:

"In November, or thereabouts, LRH had a merchant bring him racks of women's clothing and they must have been all of MSH's size. LRH would select what he wanted, and the items he selected would in due course become MSH's wardrobe for the next year."

From The Admissions of L. Ron Hubbard, ca. 1946: Vida does not resemble your mother. She looks like a wood nymph. You like her. You do not love her to desperation. You are not jealous of her. She thrills you physically and you enjoy her. Letter: Robert Heinlein to John Arwine (10 May 1946) Source: […]

Yes, that's what can be done with pdf's and similar. Take a screen shot of the page, trim the relevant bit of the image, save it as a .gif or .jpg and then upload it to imgur from where it can be displayed in your post. Simples! :wink2:

two thoughts

regarding treasure hunts, I wouldn't be surprised if he was auditing someone or heard of someone getting auditing and they then recalled hiding treasures in a past life that the con would try to go find it himself, or that he starting trying things like that earlier when he was toying with hypnotism, after he was already rich he claimed he could beat casinos, wonder if that inspired miscavige and his gaggle to go to the casino when they were there as he died

regarding being a perv, just read his sci fi books they're full of creepy low sexual behaviors, dianetics too

Casinos can be a way to launder cash. You can claim you "got lucky at the poker table".

Auditing can do the same due to it's zero expenditure of traceable assets, with all gains being tax exempt religious contributions! Good thing the mob would never have thought of this as that! HA! We may have been born yesterday but we been up all night...
