Apart from the creepy looking IAS type torch on their logo I can't see any link to the clams.

None of the links fo to the RFW site. This could be a clever trick, or it could just be the facts

It's nothing new... the Unification Church ("Moonies"), Scientology, Biblical sects & miscellaneous "new religious movements" have created "interfaith" organizations to promote "religious freedom," which, in reality, is a covert attempt to perserve and forward their own cult agenda.

The Moonies have been quite adept at pulling these stunts and enlisting alot of support within the interfaith community. Twice a year, the UC will provide select clergy all-expense paid trips to South Korea obstensibly to promote religious freedom; in reality, to promote & support Rev. Sun Myung Moon as the Messiah and 2nd Coming of Christ.

Moon, btw, is in his 90s and ailing. Much of the Moonie empire has been delegated to his adult children (referred to as Heavenly Children) and they are all fighting with each other over $$ and control of the empire. One of the Heavenly sons committed suicide, one is a cocaine addict, and one of Moon's daughters quit the UC, denounced her parents, and became a born-again Christian.

The CofS has gotten involved in a lot of interfaith groups for the purposes of defense and repositioning themselves. That was one of the activities when they took over C.A.N.

The pickings are slim among the more obscure cults and it's very risky to be associated with groups. Nearly every possible association makes the CofS look even crazier than they already do!

The moonies, synanon, Co$ and People's Temple were making common cause since the late 60s.

And Krishna and Nishirin Shoshu too

No big surprise.

Nation of Islam is funnier though :)
