I though you’d never ask!
First of all, I am not saying that the people who promote Zeitgeist are Nazis. I am saying that the premises and much of the data in Zeitgeist is what the Nazis promoted in the 1930s and 1940s. I also contend that the method these people use to convince others is the same method the Nazis use.
The most effective people the world has ever seen at convincing people of their ideas were the Nazis. Their incredibly effective style of propaganda is used today by our government, certain political parties, most major news media companies, as well as many other groups. The Nazis were able to convince the most educated population in the world at the time, the Germans, that Hitler was a leader who had their best interests in mind. I can’t overestimate the effectiveness of their style of propaganda.
Nazi propaganda had two sides to it. The lies which the Nazis told and their method of convincing people that their lies were true.
The information in this Zeitgeist contains both Nazi propaganda and Nazi style of propaganda. The section on the Federal Reserve mostly contains data which comes directly from Hitler and his minister of propaganda Joseph Goebbels. I will cover the specifics in a moment. But don’t be surprised that many people fall for this stuff even today. This is what the Nazis said during the 1930s and 1940s and because of their method of spreading propaganda many people believe it. Even the word Zeitgeist was essential to Nazi propaganda. The word originally came from the German philosopher Hegel (before the Nazis) and it means “the spirit of the time.” (Zeit-time; Geist-spirit). The Nazi used some of the philosophy of Hegel and his idea of Zeitgeist. Hegel said “Man owes his entire existence to the state.” The Nazis used this line. It is why they are called Nazis, which is a shortened form of the German words which mean National Socialism. It is not like regular socialism in that it is design for the good of the people, but National Socialism because it is for the good of the state (here “state” means nation or country). My first thought when I saw the title Zeitgeist was that the authors were being sarcastic, but when I saw they were actually promoting Nazi ideas I think they meant it as a good title.
The section on September 11th is Nazi style propaganda very effectively applied to those events too.
Nazi propaganda is based on the theory of “The Big Lie.” As Hitler said, and I am paraphrasing him, if you tell a big lie often enough, over and over, people will believe it. The method is this: You tell a big lie, over and over. You repeat it enough in order to get people to take it as fact. You back it up with bits of isolated data to support your accusation, and you are careful to exclude or suppress any data which is contrary. When someone presents opposing facts or prove that your facts are wrong, you attack them personally and avoid discussing the facts. Here is an example. I am making up these statements to show how it is done: The Nazis say “The Jewish bankers in Germany and Jewish communists are trying to take over Germany and the world.” Someone points out the contrary fact that there are no Jewish bankers in Germany. The Nazis scream that this person is obvious a communist agent telling lies. It is as simple as that. It works every time. It works every time because it is consist with the way people think.
Another part of the Nazi method is to correctly notice something wrong, but then fill the information void with their lies. There are lots of things wrong with the official story connected with September 11th. But by using enough half-truths, that is, pointing out the inconsistencies, people will tend to believe the Nazis when they say what the causes of the inconsistencies are.
There is one other point about Nazi style propaganda. It is designed to get you to think some group of people are bad. The communication tries to create hatred aginst certain others. I had someone defend the data that is in Zeitgeist before. When I showed him in Hitler’s book Mein Kampf that Hitler said the same thing, the person replied “Just because it is in Hitler’s book doesn’t mean it is wrong.” I said “You’re right. Just because it is in Hitler’s book doesn’t mean its wrong. But it is based on hate, and it is probably intended for evil.”
The data in Zeitgeist is intended for people who are not very knowledgeable in history. For example, when they say that the Lusitania was carrying war materials and was done to bait the Germans and get America into the war, someone not knowledgeable in history may look on the internet and find that the Lusitania was indeed carrying weapons. So they may think that Zeitgeist is telling the truth. But what Zeitgeist doesn’t tell you is that all the passenger ships were doing the same thing and that the United States did not enter the war because of the Lusitania. Also, the Zeitgeist creators like to take a sentence or two that someone says, usually out of context, and imply that the sentence is proof of what Zeitgeist says. But what Zeitgeist doesn’t tell people is what all the relevant players said through the events. If one looks at the debate held in Congress regarding entering World War I one will see right through Zeitgeist on that point.
Now I will explain the sequence of how the things Hitler and Goebbels wrote and said ended up in Zeitgeist.
The basis of Hitler and the Nazis philosophy was that Germans as a race are naturally superior to other people. When Germans marry non-Germans their children are genetically weaker. The Nazis were convinced that the Jews were not actually humans, but were in fact a breed of parasites which looked human, but depended on humans for their survival. To survive, Jews had to drain resources from humans. This is why the Nazis said the Jews had to be exterminated. They were not humans but parasites which looked and acted human in order to survive off of humans. The Nazis passed laws that Jews could not marry Germans, or even have sexual or social relations with Germans. The Germans also could not marry other races either. Germans could not marry blacks or Chinese or whatever. They could marry English people because the English people were of German descent (Anglo-Saxons). The Nazis symbol, the Swastika, has four sections, one for each of the races the Germans believed existed, and the symbol which came from the Thule society means “separation of the races“ because the Nazis believed that the races should not mix genetically.
The Nazis had people who agreed with them in this country. One was a Catholic priest named Father Coughlin. In the 1930s he had a radio broadcast show each week and had one of the largest audiences on radio (this was before TV was invented for use). He blamed many of the world’s problems on the Jews and used to praise Hitler. He sometimes would take a speech that Joseph Goebbels gave and changed a few lines and say the same thing on his radio show. Father Coughlin was very popular in this country. He supported Hitler’s attack on England because Coughlin said England was controlled by the Jews. And of course he supported Hitler’s attack on the Soviet Union because Coughlin said just as Hitler did, that communism was a Jewish conspiracy. Since he was a supporter of Hitler, once Germany declared war on the United States in December 1941, the United States government shut down his radio broadcast. There are several book about Father Coughlin which give sections of transcripts of Goebbel and Coughlin. Coughlin’s speeches came about a month or two after Goebbels. There was a person who acted as liaison between the two. This is a historical fact and is on record.
Even before Father Coughlin, another prominent American, Henry Ford, was a supporter of Hitler. He personally contributed lots of money to the Nazis in the 1930s. Hitler even praises Henry Ford in Mein Kampf for standing up to the Jews in America.
Another prominent American was Ezra Pound. Pound was a famous literary artists and poet. There is no doubt that in this area he was brilliant. But he hated Jews and was pro-Hitler. When war broke out between Germany and the United States he went back to his native country of Italy (although he was born there, he became an American citizen). He made radio broadcasts for the Italy fascists (Italy was an ally of Germany in World War II). His show was aimed at the American soldiers who could listen to radio broadcasts from Rome while they were fighting the Germans around the Mediterranean Sea. In these broadcasts he said most of the things about the Federal Reserve which are in many of the books used for Zeitgeist. I personally went to the Library of Congress and read the transcripts of some of his broadcasts to make sure. When Ezra Pound was captured by American soldiers at the end of the war he was brought back to the United States to stand trial for treason. The penalty for treason in time of war is death. Because he was such a famous literary genius, many American writers and artist pleaded with the government not to put him on trial. Since the war was over it would serve no useful purpose. Instead he was placed in St. Elizabeth’s mental hospital in Washington D.C. When Ezra Pound was finally released from the hospital in 1958 he gave the Nazi salute to the reporters waiting outside, and then he went back to Italy.
The next person is Eustace Mullins. Eustace Mullins had written a book called The Biological Jew. In it he said the same thing as Hitler; that the Jews are not actually humans but are a form of parasite that look human and need to live off of humans to survive. Eustace Mullins use to visit Ezra Pound in the mental hospital. Ezra Pound told Eustace Mullins about the Federal Reserve. Mullins says this in his most famous book called The Secrets of the Federal Reserve. Mullins wrote this book in the 1950’s. Some of it is taken verbatim from a book by Father Coughlin which came from a speech by Joseph Goebbels. But most of the book is from the speeches Ezra Pound made during World War II.
In the early 1960s and 1970s a series of books were written by Gary Allen and Anthony Sutton of the John Birch Society. Some of the books were repeats of what Eustace Mullins said which were from the speeches that Ezra Pound made for the Nazis during Pound’s radio broadcasts. Eustace Mullins said he once tried to sue them for plagiarism.
A few other writers wrote other conspiracy books based on the books of Gary Allen and Anthony Sutton (which were based on Eustace Mullins, which was based on Ezra Pound, which was based on Father Coughlin, which was based on Hitler’s books and speeches.) Some of these later writers are: Jim Marrs, Martin Lawson, G. Edward Griffin, James Perloff, and Ralph A. Epperson. These authors follow the Nazi line on the Federal Reserve. All of these authors that I have mentioned here from Gary Allen onward follow the Nazi line and are mentioned as sources in Part III of Zeitgeist.
Eustace Mullins isn’t mentioned as a source. Neither is Ezra Pound, Father Coughlin, or Hitler. All of them were openly hateful of Jews. In later editions of Mullins’ book he soften his attack on the Jews, saying instead “international bankers.” Prior to this, he would write (like Hitler) ‘international Jewish bankers.” The later writers from Gary Allen onward would not criticize all Jews, only certain Jewish families as being part of a world conspiracy. The later writers don’t emphasize all Jews as being the problem, but are quick to emphasize Jewish names in the conspiracy.
Lyndon Larouche is listed as a voice over. Lyndon Larouche is an American fascist who is not allowed to travel in certain countries in Europe because of his pro-Nazi positions. There is a fairly recent book out about him called Lyndon Laruouche and the New American Fascisim. David Icke is also listed as a voice over. He also writes books with the Nazi line.
One thing I must address right here is why so many Scientologists and ex-Scientologists are prone to believe this stuff. Eustace Mullins is very popular among Scientologists. He is still alive, although he is very old. He still writes for the American Nazi Party’s website from time to time. I know Scientologists who have met him. Mullins used to hold book signings in downtown Clearwater for Scientologists.
The former head of the Institute for Historical Review, which was an organization whose purpose was to prove the holocaust did not happen, was lead by an OT. The Church forced him to resign because of the bad PR, but as far as I had know, he hadn’t changed his opinion.
The last time I worked at a Scientology owned business my boss tried to convince me that the holocaust never happened. He was a big fan of Eustace Mullins. I showed him Mullins book The Biological Jew where Mullins says that Jews are not humans but a form of parasites. After reading the book my senior said, “I’m not saying it is all Jews, but he (Mullins) has a point.”
I have heard, but I have not yet been able to confirm, that the current chief editor for the American Nazi Party’s paper is a Scientologist.
Michael Ruppert is mentioned in the section on September 11th. Although he isn’t a Nazi, he uses the Nazi method of propaganda to promote his views. In the past I knew of two close assistants to Michael Ruppert who were both OTs. One of them told me that I should support them because they are Scientologists. I told him that I consider them to be unethical for promoting information that is clearly false and can be easily proven to be false.
The data about the earlier Christian belief systems comes from the Nazi theorist Alfred Rosenberg. The idea was that all the early Christians, who were Jews, took the religious beliefs of the Arian people and altered it, so they could claim it as their own. You can find it in his written works in a good library
Again, I am not saying that these people in present time are Nazis. But I am saying they are very misguided and have accepted the Nazi propaganda without knowing where it came from. They are also very unknowledgeable in historical research. They simply cherry-pick information that meets their theory and avoids any which contradicts them.
