Apology to Fluffy/Voltaire's child.

I am sorry that I addressed my annoyance directly at you recently Fluffy/VC ... I meant the 'gist' of what I said and I do not shrink from it but, I should have (and probably will) post it as a general post re my thoughts on 'chameleons' here at ESMB.

I am not here as a self appointed handler of perceived bullying and I must learn to shut up!

Please accept my apology ...

:)

Would someone please quote this post in full as I am on 'ignore' with VC and she may not see this ... thanks.

Done - ITYIWT I also get pissed off at the same reptiles you mention.

Guess it's all part of being human rather than Homo Novis. :D

Well done for being big enough to apologize.

What's with all the housework. You spend all that time sweeping, washing, vacuuming, dusting and six months later you have to do it all over again!

:exhaustion:

Obviously a reference to my post right before it, where I said "Clean living wins in the end." No big mystery there.

Hi,

Thanks! I truly appreciate it!!

I mean, the thing about the chameleon stuff is well, different days, different moods, different subject, different ways of responding. I really think that's all there is to that particular phenom.

I'll just share an analogy with you- a fun one.

Back when I had this one kitteh (who's since passed away) and a boxer dog, too- they liked each other though the kitteh kind of pushed the boxer dog around and the boxer only wanted to be friends. So anyway, I was going to bed and kitteh and boxer were trotting after me so they could come too. We went down this little narrow hallway and the dog was ahead of the cat. So the cat sped up a bit and drew abreast of the dog. Then decided he was crowding her, reared up on her hind legs and slapped him with her little paws. Funniest damn thing I ever saw...

What I'm tryin' to say is that we're all like the kitteh...we come up to people, we ask to talk to them or we run past them and then sometimes we get all hissy because the person was right where we were and our territorial imperative kicked in.

So I look at it like we're like Butch (the doggie) and Kate The Wondercat. (dumb, had baleful yellow eyes and I loved her to pieces) and maybe that's mostly where some of the tiffs come from. We reared up, slammed each other with our little paws and those who were looking on were like "well, that was silly. They look like a couple of pissed off woodchucks." :)

LOL.

Cool ... and I won't even ask which one (of us) was Kate the wondercat ... in this analogy.

Oh, maybe we were both a couple of kittehs rearing up and slapping each other with paws, hopefully velveted ones. So sometimes I do that and end up looking like a deranged woodchuck (which is what Kate looked like that day).

Can one have territorial imperative in cyberspace? My guess is yes.

Agreed ... (must dash, Master is calling me for walkies!).

DM was born April 30, 1960. He joined Scientology in 1971, making him age 11. He went to St Hill with his family and studied to Level IV Auditor. In 1976 he joined the Sea Org and went to Flag at age 16.

I have read in affidavits that he did not complete 8th grade, which makes sense if he was in England on course since age 11. I don't recall any specific data on him attending any school in England nor do I know the rules there, but in the US one can quit school at age 16 no matter what grade you are in. (In CA and maybe some other states now the age is 18).

There are lots of hits on google if one wants the facts. Here is a start:

I believe his family joined CofS and that's how he got involved. He didn't "join Scientology" - his family joined CofS and he later became, as we all know, deeply involved.
