My guess is that they all signed draconian NDAs -- non-disclosure agreements. Jenna was presented with a NDA that would require her to pay $10,000 for each violation. She refused to sign it. She may the only one of them who is free to speak without being sued for violation of a NDA.

Remember that Jenna's parents have years of confessions that may be recorded in some fashion by the "church."

"My boss stole 5k!"
"I have no respect for people in my chosen business - the whole industry will be dead in a few years!"


Stuff that could bury them in personal or professional ways.
Or maybe they don't want to hear from 50 thousand people who will say "You left baby Jenna with a broken knee? WTF?"


Or maybe they're just terrified of David Miscavige. I would be. It's one thing to say "Do the right thing because of the principle of the matter." It's another to deliberately come out of your safe house with a target on your back.

The public relations ramifications of him going after his own family are off the charts.

Imagine what they know about DM. I am sure it's A LOT.

This woman is courageous beyond measure. Now, I know that she feels very good about the relationship that
she now has with her parents and I certainly would not wish to be disrespectful nor desire any tension there.

Having said that, and I hope I am not out of line, but watching her tell it like it is, observing her bravery and her sincerity I am
continually dogged by the same thoughts ringing in my head and they are, "Where are her parents and Ron senior in
terms of speaking out and backing this incredibly beautiful young woman, a young woman that frankly they all let down?"

These adults need to come up to the plate. Now I haven't read the book (but I will) so I don't know if there are any words
from them committed to the pages of this expose'. What I do know is that whether or not she feels it necessary, I still believe she
deserves a hell of a lot more back up than it appears that she is getting.

Am I out of line here?

It was her site, ex scientology kids, that I finally clicked the button to read the OT3 data. And I was a nervous wreck at the time and I finally clicked it and read the data. OMG. The site gives disclaimers don't read this if you want to ruin your OT case, but I did it anyways, had to know. OMG, I threw up my arms. I couldn't believe what I read, I was like you got to be kidding. And then all the promo on the dianetics books came to view coupled with my prior research & RJ67, and I'm like, you have got to be kidding, It's all a purposeful mystery created for nothing but money.

You know when I finally clicked on the OT3 data on the ex scientology kids site, my thoughts were like if this kid, Jenna, connected to DM knows about it, WTF why can't I. And of course tons of hubbard's know best and fixed idea's and indoctrination come to view. And I like WTF did I get involved with. With the horror stories of ex staff, I'm like WTF. It's unbelievable.

No, it's not fair. It's just a rather easy expectation when you, yourself, put your neck on the line, lost all your friends, parts of your own family, allowed the media to interview you when you were shaking in your boots, got declared, villified, spent 25 years in giving service to others (sort of, at least thought you did), watched many, many other people lose their families and go through all sorts of hell because they had enough integrity to stand up while all while those people saw exactly what was going on at the very top of the org board and then quietly walked away but no, no it really isn't fair. It's not fair at all.

I was trying to be nice and civil about the whole thing, if you'll notice but that just pushed a button with me. If you want to talk NDAs and that type of thing, okay but fair? FAIR? Really? No. It's not about what's fair. Is it fair that Lori Hodgkins heart breaks every fucking day because she lost both of her kids to the cult because she wouldn't toe the line? That's one example. I don't know what their story is and I said that from the beginning and I know you are only trying to be understanding but please don't throw the word "fair" in there. That just doesn't work for me.

And I shouldn't even be talking about myself as the brave people that came before me are the ones that enabled me to walk out that door. My gratitude for their courage is without limit, I can tell you that.

Wow! Thanks Sock Puppy. That was the best interview so far. I really like Anderson Cooper. He's warm and seems to get the best out of people.

Ya know, her parents are probably having a very hard time with all of this and I do wish them well. What a very rough position to be in and yet, that is the position that they are in.

They were mind controlled just like everyone else. Jenna is my new hero -- and a big one at that.

Thanks, no doubt, I thought he did a terrific job when he reported on the violence at Gold Base and he's done a great job following up with Lawrence Wright and now Jenna. And, of course, like ever self-respecting journalist, he gives the Church every opportunity to answer for themselves, something they're completely incapable of doing. Hard to imagine, but the days of Tommy Davis now represents their best effort at confront . . .

That interview with Anderson Cooper! Thank you Jenna. One of the most profoundly moving & compelling indictments of the treacherously evil cult of Scientology.

Make no mistake; that is the celebrated "tech" that Jenna was "handled" with. When someone is promoting Scientology in any form, that is what they are supporting. Mind numbing degradation, terrorism and slavery. That is Scientology.

But what about "Indies" you ask? Are they not different? No, I am afraid that that is where the "tech" inevitably and inexorably leads to. How do we know this? Because that is where the tech lead to.
