You have perhaps a partial truth though. DM may have been following the old adage keep your friends close and your enemies closer. He would not have wanted Marty to be disaffected and join up with others ex COS. One can see why!
However one dosn't assign two of the top auditors and execs to personally
train someone on the RPF. Seems obvious he was trying to keep Marty onside.
I'm a scientologist and you've never done any and probably studied little.
Thus we have very different viewpoints. Had I like you not heard of scn and came to it via the critical materials as have you I might possibly have a similar viewpoint to yours. In fact once I got a computer and came to the net I was horrified at what I read and became, and remained, a critic of COS.
However, and most here would agree, scientologists are for the most part good,well meaning people, looking to the greater good.

He don't like them.
However he has nominated Les and Anita warren as the winners of the "birthday game". I've just posted 15 success stories of theirs in one post elsewhere.
Of course Les and Anita has much expansion as they are working with LRH trained Class VIII's Mary and Frankie Freeman.
Not sure if Marty knows they deliver the RO bridge. He does now though.

I find it easy to believe that Jesse is telling the truth despite a few confusions and hesitancies and that Marty's account (as posted by Anonymary #267) is a tissue of lies designed to cover his tracks.
I wondered why this should be, and it seems to me that Jesse just says what he thinks, straight out, while Marty's text has been worked over and worked over to make sure the story will stand.
The degree of truth seems to increase directly with the distance the person has put between himself and Scientology.

Unbeliveable. One would think that as part of the process of leaving all the NONSENSE of organized Scientology behind, that things like "awarding Kha Khan status" and "announcing Birthday game winners" would also go by the wayside. But, not with MARTY'S VERSION of "Scientology". He is keeping FAR MORE SHIT than I would ever want in a "calmer, less severe, and not so rah-rah-rah" version of Scientology. He has a VERY DIFFERENT idea from me in differentiating what is "worthwhile" about Scientology and what is not.

Marty still very much considers valuable and thinks with FAR TOO ADMIN POLICY. Especially, if and when one takes a little time to notice that the majority of the harm caused by Scientology originates in the GREEN issues.

Both are references to LRH's OT III narrative and those who accept is as given. The 'honorific' title of 'loyal officer' is one frequently adopted by ex's who see themselves as remaining truly loyal to LRH.
This seems to be especially common among former SO members who see themselves as 'standard tech purists'. Affiliation with ROs is not a factor. MR walks the walk, and talks the talk even if he has not yet chosen to describe himself in those terms. By his actions, if there is one person on this planet who is actively seeking to be seen as a 'Loyal Officer' supporting L. Ron Hubbard (whether he is truly 'loyal' or not) it is Mark 'Marty' Rathbun. Hence my referring to him in those terms.
You'ld be correct to conclude that I don't take much stock in it.

I'm so glad to hear that. I'm not someone who needs people to be perfect in order to admire them, but when I was first learning about CoS, Stacy's posts and interviews were some of the most sensible, articulate, reliable points of info out there. She always seemed like a really decent, albeit deeply wounded, person. I wish her the best, and I hope Jesse (who I also have tremendous admiration for) is mistaken in this case.

Wow! I just got my case totally handled for the first time!
The final barrier to OT has been removed!
Marty indicated that all my BPC was from COB.
Then he rehabbed previous unacknowledged states that I had achieved.
Man oh man, when I spotted that I was one of the cats along with Marty
that captured and imprisoned Xenu in that eternal battery, I blew all
the charge I had on the times when I was on staff with Marty and COB
and they subjected me to eternal (assault &) battery!
