Maybe jt got around to slapping slappy's ass, and all scno/co$ protection has been removed, and accusers encouraged to come forth . . . It keeps crossing my mind that jt might have done something to piss off co$/dm, and all protections were removed, and an all-out covert assault has been unleashed.

That does not mean he did not do these things - or that he did . . . The guy is gay, yep . And when a person hides and supresses parts of the personality/being that are not acceptable, they eventually come forth in a down and dirty way. We can run but we cannot hide - forever.

That is why so many religious men - and poiticians - end up in some kind of scandel. It is better to face one's own demons, and deal with them, long before they become beasts.

The end years of lrh - same thing - he became the beast. But he never truly tried to hide it, he just cloaked it, like the Clingons in Star Trek, the invisible cloaking device, so they could get right in there, close, before exposing themselves . . . (Pun intended.)

If jt did these things, then he must face the consequences, legal or not . . . That kind of behavior is so disrespectful and arrogant - and blatant sexual harrassment/violation. Whether the law can do anything about it is questionable at this point. Evidence - needs factual evidence. But I am guessing this will taint the man forever, like the molestation accusations surrounding Michael Jackson. Money can buy just about anything . . . .

On Friday, the mystery masseur was dropped by his lawyer, Okorie Okorocha, after the date of the alleged sexual assault in Los Angeles didn't match up with Travolta's apparent whereabouts (New York).

On Monday, Doe # 1 filed a motion to dismiss the $2 million suit.

But now, celebrity attorney Gloria Allred says she's taking him as a client.

"I represent John Doe # 1. Mr. Doe's lawsuit was dismissed without prejudice which means that he is still legally entitled to file another lawsuit against John Travolta if he chooses," Allred said in a statement to RadarOnline.com. "We are in the process of conferring with him regarding the next steps, which he may wish to take. Our client and our firm has no further comment at this time."

Another hotel masseur is claiming sexual shenanigans on the part of John Travolta -- only this accuser says he welcomed the actor's horny horseplay and found him "very experienced" in bed.

Is it too soon to talk about the whole John Travolta debacle?

Yesterday the actor's second accuser withdrew his sexual battery lawsuit - just days after the first masseur to claim Travolta was an inappropriate aggressor did so as well.

That's welcome news, of course, for the star.

One doesn't wish to think about the king of Pulp Fiction proving to be the kind of guy who manhandles the help. Nobody gives a stuff if Travolta is gay, straight, animal or vegetable, but these allegations were worrisome.

Like rich women who run off with their gardener or back-up dancer, a star of Travolta's stature will only attract disapproval for any sort of dalliance with service staff.

In the same way that a torrid affair with the nanny, the governess, the upstairs maid or the pool boy is verboten, a fling with any sort of underling is very bad form.

It's an abuse of power, for starters, and it's often a bit lazy. And it causes people to talk about you. Not in a good way.

Travolta, who is married to Kelly Preston, has managed to stem the tide of what could be opportunistic accusations from masseurs.

Still, the allegations are unpleasant, and they - not any orientation issue - are the disturbing element here. Nobody wants to be intimidated. A bit of rough is best left to the golf course, perhaps.

According to reports, both Johns Does have hired lawyer Gloria Allred, suggesting the matter isn't going to go away yet.

Anyway, it will be interesting to see how this all ends. Or not.

First of all...

Sarah messaged me last night asking if I’d seen the video that John Travolta made for Kelly Preston. I hadn’t and made a point of watching it before passing out thinking it’d be great to fall asleep to the sight of him throwing down a few dance moves in a pair of chaps. Instead it just made me sad.

How much do you love that John Travolta opens on a tribute to his wife by showing what could possibly be his favourite photo of HIMSELF? This is why actors need editors, see? Actors are always #1 in their own minds. Even when they’re trying to honour someone else.

Still...I can’t hate on this effort (too much). It’s obvious that they adore each other. It’s so obvious they miss what they’ve lost. As I noted last week in my initial report on Travolta’s multiple masseur scandal, she is his best friend and he hers. The video may be corny but it’s also sweet and it’s loving and, well, I don’t doubt its sincerity, I really, really don’t...

But for the timing of it all.

I want to resist being that cynical bitch raising an eyebrow to a man’s touching appreciation for his partner. Because no matter what we know of Travolta’s no-longer secrets, he is undeniably devoted to his family, as unconventional as their arrangement might be. Is it fair then to question his motivation?

That’s a choice you make as a pop culture consumer. You support the ones you feel deserve it and have earned it and who ultimately entertain you. That’s what they owe you, if they owe you anything. What, then, does John Travolta, and by extension Kelly Preston, owe you? Would you have enjoyed his extraordinary performance in Pulp Fiction any less had he already come out? The problem here is not that you would not have but that he believes you would have, an assumption that presumably shapes the public decision-making with respect to his career. Kelly Preston chose to share a private video in a very public way. Is it not my choice then to interpret that video informed by the circumstances surrounding its release?

There’s something tragic and desperate about the way John Travolta is clinging to this fraud. Where Tom Cruise is deliberate and controlled about the management of his machine, having successfully merged his own interests and desires with those of the powerful organisation that supports him, Travolta’s approach is so fractured and vulnerable, it’s less a cry for help than an admission of defeat. Bound by duty and obligation, voluntary or otherwise, he is the portrait of a man paying the price of a sacrifice that may have been too great.
