Only those *trained* to believe that (although, they dont' believe they belive) actually believe that.

In fact, the most notable success (except in creating ex-scientologists) of Scientology is the success in training Scientologists to believe that 'Scientology Works'.

That does indeed work. Sometimes. For a while.

Please read the following as it is written; in a cheerful frame of mind. :)
You obviously never did any Scientology, then.
Not to further derail this thread but maybe we can have a new thread discussing the likelihood of a non-scn'ist ever really understanding the scn experience?

We can probably close this diversion right now, since *my* theory is that it's far more likely for someone never subjected to Scientology Training to understand 'what' Scientology Training is specifically because the bulk of the Training is training in *not* understanding what is being done to the trainee :)

Since you've been 'trained', you *can't* understand that :whistling:

lol, thanks Zinj, you just won me $20!
I correctly predicted your exact response
Gawd, it's like fish-in-a-barrel when it comes to people who know everything already. :whistling: right back at ya!

As always you raise a good point.

Getting rid of DM is like the church targeting prozac. It does not get the desired result. Wrong target.

What if it had not been DM that got to the top of the cult? May be that abusive culture and system would have attracted another despot! I am pretty sure it would.

The methodology of micro-management, the dodgy justice, the pretend navy, the RPF and KSW contribute and combine to make the church into the great cult we see today.

With or without the little guy it is still a mind fcuk. It is still an abusive cult where no one gets paid for their work, only hammered for their "down statistics".

Where else have you seen customers made to retake services all because "they weren't delivered right" up to three times?, and paying for it each time?

Yes, I agree, Alan has an interesting take on earth peoples "chronic addiction to abuse". (http://knowledgism.com/abuse/index.asp. Scn seems to fill that need of late....perhaps it always has. If degradation is the order of the day then it is up to new religions to find new and better ways to dish the abuse......just look at Davey's mock up for the Super Power Implant Station..:omg: .

There are those that know better, but they pretty much keep themselves well away from control structures like that. Just like it is only the scumbags that enter politics...no rational person needs the abuse...

Another oldtimer, welcome!

Take your personality test, IQ test, and be prepared for the best process of your life: the "take your life back" process.

The procedure is simple: read other people stories and share yours.
Many unanswered questions will find an answer. Many lies will uncover. Masses will blow. Don't forget to run Havigness at the end.

The EP is: the full responsibility of your life back. :happydance:

Your only obligation in any lifetime is to be true to yourself.
Being true to anyone else or anything else is not only impossible,
but the mark of a fake messiah.

Youse guys started it :)

After all, 'you can't understand Scientology unless you do it'

No, Zinj, that's not was I was saying at all, I was pointing out the flaw in your "paper cup" analogy. The real problem with scn is that parts of it DO work!
Re-read what I said above with that in mind.
I've started a new thread about our differing viewpoints http://www.forum.exscn.net/showthread.php?p=131327#post131327
Let's pick it up there.

Thanks

Hey Folks,

Thanks for your input. A couple of things said, jolted me out of an unhealthy subjective viewpoint, and am now looking at an obvious factor which was somewhat hidden in my universe. Today I feel differently to yesterday. The bastard's now budging, and while still needing some resolve, I can at least see some light at the end of the tunnel on this issue.

Hey, while some of you have very different reality/viewpoints to mine - your care factor (despite your different reality), is truely warming. Bloody nice

Love,
SNC
