I know this sounds like wishful thinking but I have no doubt that the Anonymous campaign would have reached her deeply.

For selfish reasons, I'm salivating. I want to know how many of the outpoints the pampered celebs are exposed to. And I want the outpoints to be front page news - not this GMA Debbie Cook crap that I would have no reason to know about in my daily irl life.

Seems that any mother reading just a couple sentences of eyewitness testimony that Hubbard terrorized a 4 year old child and locked them in a chain locker would be more than enough to inspire a ferocious protective instinct. It should provoke that in any semi-normal person.

Mick, as much as I agree with your point about co-parenting, I don't see how it can work in the Co$. One of them (Katie) is going to be declared for speaking against the Co$. That will make Suri PTS for staying with Katie. If Suri doesn't disconnect from Katie, she will be declared, in which case Tom will have nothing to do with her. If she does disconnect, then she has no mother.

This is the point. If Tom gets joint custody, Suri will be indoctrinated and manipulated into a GRGW relationship with Katie. So Katie will get a card or flowers on her birthday and Christmas and that's it. Just like Conner and Isabella were pried away from Nicole. Katie was the go between in that relationship and knows all too well what would happen if Scientology gets their way with Suri and she will do everything in her power to stop that. And so she should.

She has also asked for legal custody, primary residential custody and a "suitable amount" of child support from her husband, TMZ.com reports.

This is different from sole custody. Suri would still be able to see Tom but live with her. However, she would have the say on things like schooling and medical, ie no Delphi, no brainwashing, no association with people Katie does not approve of, no treating serious infections with touch assists while withholding medical treatment, no joining the Sea Org at 12 years old, and so on.

Re "Irreconcilable differences". This tells you nothing other than divorce has been filed for. It is the ONLY grounds for divorce in California and requires only that one party state it. The court does not want to waste it's time listening to domestic disputes and strained accusations. It will rule on property division if there is no property agreement attached to the divorce filing. It will also hear custody issues. It does not rule on who should or should not have taken out the trash.

That would be rich indeed, as Tom would essentially be forced to meet with a psych for a few hours. I don't see that getting denied on religious grounds - lol.....

Where I would be nervous if I were Katie is that she would need to prove that there is a direct threat to Suri. No one cares about a 4 year old in a chain locker in 1970. That would be akin to asking for sole custody because your husband is Catholic and somewhere in New Jersey a priest raped a kid in the 1970's. Which is not to say that the rape or chain locker weren't tragic for the kids involved - it just doesn't show a threat to YOUR kid.

Yeah I think the 1970 stuff is a bit too dusty but dm niece had some interesting little bits a few years ago. We probably each have our issues and I suppose sometimes they surface a little, Claire and I are diametrically opposed on certain things (lol! ... that's putting it mildly) but I would be there for her in a heartbeat if she ever needed it and I know she would be for me ... we all know each other here so well after years of laughter, arguing and generally messing around and it's a bit like a fabulous but dysfunctional family.

It would surprise me more if she hadn't seen critical information on the net than if she had. She may not have bothered with anon stuff but even the kinder celeb sites throw in robo-katie/stepford kate now and again. All it would take is if she asked herself if this is really how the world perceives her. Robotic is not a great description for any actress.

I lean heavily towards a contractual arrangement. Apart from the long standing rumours about it, any interviews either of them have done where they have described the spouse and marriage have included way, way too many adjectives. It always read like someone describing something they had no personal experience of, but thought that that is what it might feel like.

But, no one knows what goes on in a marriage or what people feel for each other. I hope she regains her spirit of play and he takes his blinkers off.
