Actually it's one of those invisible policies that cult members follow. Like when you are on a Routing Form at Flag and trying to catch your plane. Nothing is in policy about making people get signatures on a RF but if you leave without that you are hunted down and given a new tech estimate.

Same same on the 2D. If your C/S and Ethics Officer writes some words on a piece of paper (called your "Program") you have to do what the words say, like go to the Chaplain to discuss your divorce plans with your spouse and a 17 year old kid who listens carefully to what you are saying so they know when you slightly pause--so they can interrupt and tell you that you need to write up your O/W's.

What about all the divorces amongst members of the Sea Org and it's other 'paritioners'....or is this just for Tom and Katie?

Does this mean that Tom's 2 previous divorces from Nicole and Mimi are also not recognized? Doesn't that make him a bigamist in the eyes of the 'church' if he's still married to the other 2 while being married to Katie? Has the 'Church' of Scientology morphed into the Mormon religion?

We all know its no stretch for the dick-tater of scilons to come up with some new piece of policy or tech previously supressed by espees.

After all, Ron hisself didn't recognize his own marriage or divorce to / from Sara Northrup.

No doubt the scilon faithful may well be in denial on the news but the reality is that thanks to TC's world wide fame, millions and millions of folk around the world WILL RECOGNIZE the divorce.

Hi Cheryl,

We probably each have our issues and I suppose sometimes they surface a little, Claire and I are diametrically opposed on certain things (lol! ... that's putting it mildly) but I would be there for her in a heartbeat if she ever needed it and I know she would be for me ... we all know each other here so well after years of laughter, arguing and generally messing around and it's a bit like a fabulous but dysfunctional family.

Please don't take it personally, you sound like a lady with some life in you, and we love people like that on ESMB.

I'm approaching female time so I'm a bit snappish. When I first joined I got into it with somebody and left and I'd like to stick around for a while this time.

TMZ is now reporting that Katie has filed for sole custody. We’re right out of the gate and already it’s looking acrimonious. So what prompted this? What do we know right now?


Just a few quick hits from phone calls I’ve made so far:


-Her public play will be to paint him as a workaholic, taking job after job and having no time for family. This certainly helps her on the custody side of the argument.

-He was asking her to reconsider and wait another 6 months. She told him she’d think about it but, with support from her family, went for it anyway, and stopped taking his calls two days ago.

-There’s a rumour going around that I can’t lock down that she wants new staff around her and doesn’t want to be spied on anymore.

-Tom was papped on set in Iceland the other day but there’s some confusion now about where he is. No one can find him.

You know what’s interesting about that? They’ve always said that Tom and his inner circle check pap photos when he’s away from her, just to make sure. On top of having staff surround her.


There are so many stories being floated right now it’s hard to keep track and sort through it. Some are saying she’s been slowly, secretly planning it for a while with the help of her parents reaching out to old contacts, like her old publicists, to execute the extraction. As I mentioned earlier, she’s now back with the publicity team at BWR.


As for the “big bang moment”, just like it was with Nicole Kidman, there’s a theory that she observed something that shocked her out of her Xenu hypnosis, something behavioural that may have had to do with their daughter. In her case, if this was the case, she was a lot more clever and stealth about handling it than her predecessor, lining up a solid support system before he could step in and cut her off. Like I said, every source has 10 sources right now and all of them are trying to figure it out.

I'm betting she is thoroughly sick of living in the miscavige fishbowl, her father is totally helping her and the internet accounts of people leaving the church, books by those as well, have helped immensely in helping her plan her exit.

Katie Holmes believes Scientology now views her as a threat to the organization and has put a team on her tail ... sources close to the actress tell TMZ.

We're told Katie believes in recent weeks -- as the discord between her and Tom Cruise grew -- Scientology has been following her moves, especially in New York City.

This does not appear to be the mind of a paranoid person. People who have photographed Katie multiple times tell TMZ there have been several "mysterious" men and vehicles around Katie's apartment and following her when she's out.

Specifically ... a white Cadillac Escalade and black Mercedes SUV (see above) have been seen near Katie's NYC apartment for the past week.

FYI -- there is a publication that has put a tail on Katie, but the people doing that are separate from the people Katie believes have been dispatched from Scientology.

What I'm wondering about this: could this be another similar situation to Debbie Cook?

One would assume that Holmes has a mega-NDA where she isn't allowed to discuss anything about Scientology, Cruise, her being watched, her being controlled, etc. etc. Cruise is famous for these things, and she probably has a really big one.

However: if Scientology is "the" issue in the divorce, she will have to disclose information to the court about why she doesn't want her daughter brought up by Cruise. Which would mean talking about all this stuff she is not supposed to talk about.
