Kicked to the curb: Penta vs. Narconon Gulf Coast Inc. and Deborah Ross

Formerly Fooled - Finally Free
In mid September of 2012, Domenic J. Penta, Jr., age 44, had been at Narconon Gulf Coast for almost 2 months. Counting on the 90% success rate promised by Narconon Gulf Coast, his parents had paid $40,000 for him to attend. But unbeknownst to his parents, Dominic had been wrongfully kicked out of the program and dropped off at a hotel without any funds. He died of a drug overdose in the area shortly thereafter. [..]

[..] On May 12, 2014, the parents of the late Domenic J. Penta, Jr. age 44, filed a lawsuit against Narconon Gulf Coast, Inc. and its Director, Deborah Ross.

Read on for more and look over the lawsuit

Are Narconons now not calling themselves Narconon? Are they changing their names....so bad information can't be found? (and other reasons)

Quite a few of the facilities across the country have either changed their corporate names or are using fictitious names registered as such ( dba: doing business as ) but in this particular case, the owners were never scientologists and left the Narconon network as a facility in late 2013. They went from a non-profit Narconon Gulf Coast, Inc ( still an active corporation due to open lawsuits ) to Blu By The Sea, LLC. They Narconon facility license was transferred to Blu By The Sea LLC

Narconon Northern California recently changed it's corporate name, as noted on Reaching For The Tipping Point Forum

Narconon Northern California apparently changed it's corporate name in January 2014 to HALCYON HORIZONS, INCORPORATED, hence it's inclusion in Hannon's case for ENNA KUTZ

How bizarre that the new name, Halcyon, is a homonym for a form of benzodiazepine, Halcion. Whatever could they have been thinking??

Narconon Northern California ( before they reincorporated as Halcyon Horizons, Inc) changed many of their individual facility names, ir" Vista Bay to Redwood Cliffs... that is one of maybe 5 examples from them. This company could be trying to distance themselves from the Narconon name but I am certain they are still operating a Narconon program. Quite a few execs are scientologists and they do attend and send some staff to the Silicon Valley Org.

Another changed name: Narconon Southern California changed it's corporate name several years ago to NArconon Fresh Start. They also changed the names of their individual facilities, ie: Warner Springs is now Sunshine Summit Lodge... there are quite a few names from just those two entities, all of ahich eventually reported the changed by official fictitious name filings and facility licensing name..

It's hard to keep up with all of them but we do. Of course they change the corporate, fictitious and facility names because of all the complaints and forum discussions on the internet.

I am sure that Narconon Gulf Coast Inc thought they could fool the public into believing they were no longer in business when they changed corporate entities but I have a copy of an affidavit made by Deborah Ross where she stated " Blu By The Sea LLC f/k/a Naronon Gulf Coast, Inc"

f/k/a being 'formerly known as'. That and a host of other lawsuits documents are being prepared for publishing on Narconon Reviews soon. I'll try to remember to post a link here when we get it online.

I noticed that the Mental Health company hired by the County of Pinellas here in Tampa.....is called Suncoast Center Inc.

The Narconon facility in the County just north....Hernando County calls themselves Suncoast Rehibilatation Center....

The ploy to confuse and copy an existing facility's name, that has real Doctors...and can prescribe meds.....is obvious to me.

Suncoast Rehabilitation Center is the fictitious name for Narconon Spring Hill, Inc. The fictitious name registration with the state of FL expired in 2013, so legally they aren't supposed to be using that name in that state. Someone with some time on their hands should report that.

Suncoast Center, Inc does many things besides addiction treatment

What Suncoast did to Dominic was CRIMINAL.

When I read stories like this of unquestionable CRIMINAL disregard, it causes me to question whether or not Narconon staff also supplied the drugs on which he overdosed.

Just sayin'.
