Kirstie Alley plays the slut to stay relevent in showbiz...

I guess in a world where people love their reality TV shows, it's no big deal that a former big name actress has to play to the cameras to get attention nowadays.

What a slut. Watch her dance partner's looking directly at the camera before Kirstie pulled this stunt.

As, like last time she was on DTWS, the media exposure eventually goes away & the much-needed paychecks stop. Then, Kirstie has to come up with a new scheme to stay relevent.

Well, Tom Bergeron did make the long-lost interview with the Three Stooges.

I'd consider tossing a bit of sugar his to say thanks for that too.

I'm sure his wife would appreciate that.

Oh crap - I just realized I accidentally a word in there.

Also, I'd make it worth her time and contribute some sugar there too. I'm an equal-opportunity sugar-passer.

I don't know about slut, more like wannabe a slut. She's too old and up and down with the fat diets for any of the successful celebs to want her. She's desperate to get a part, anywhere, for anything, in the film industry. It's low class, and kind of sad.

It's like Tom Cruise's couch-jumping - just another act to bring media attention to herself. Poor Kristy. Give it up and get a real job.

Yeah, nothing is getting handed out to her anymore, I guess, so it's down to taking what you can get....lol.

At this point, Kirstie just needs to don the blue uniform and sign that billion year contract - :coolwink: It is just the right thing to do!

She hasn't been relevant since Cheers. Even when the Cheers cast did a reunion show on Frasier she refused because Frasier's character was a psychiatrist. What a Scilon Dork. :duh:

Kirstie, just keep eating Ding Dongs and get more auditing from your worthless cult with the lousy Golden Age of Fucktard auditors.

It's actually sexual harassment, I think. She put him in a terrible position politically and ethically. I think it's revolting.

Definitely. There are things called BOUNDARIES.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Personal_boundaries

I'm reminded of a therapy program for children who have trouble understanding appropriate boundries, either to past abuse, disability or impule control issues. It's called Space Invaders. It teaches them about boundaries in relationships.

It started as a therapuetic game for families where sexual or physical abuse has been an issue and being addressed. The theory behind it caught on in the mental health industry and it's principles are widely used now because they help.

Here is info on the game:
large_spaceinvaders.jpg

Space Invaders - A Game About Boundaries has a very wide audience as many families have difficulties with boundaries and this game provides a fun way for a family to work on the boundaries in their home. The game does not require a therapist to play. However, if a family is in therapy and boundaries are an issue, the game gives the therapist good insight into the family dynamics and allows the therapist to help the family define consistent, healthy boundaries.

There are two sets of 80 brightly colored cards. The game is easy to learn and fun to play. It can be played like "Concentration" or "Go Fish." The whole family will enjoy playing it.

You will note that the game is also good for special populations such as those where sexual abuse has occurred. There are special instructions in the package for using the game when there have been emotional, physical or sexual boundary violations in the home. This game is also very useful when there have been allegations of sexual abuse but it is unclear if it happened.

Besides using the game with families, therapists have been using the game in groups of sexual abuse victims, children with sexual behavior problems, and adolescents with sexually abusive behaviors to understand the issues in their homes regarding emotional, physical and sexual boundaries. [..]

Kirstie Alley went way beyond the appropriate bounderies in this situation and thought NOTHING of it! Indeed, what I saw, too, was sexual harassment.

Jesus, what a bunch of sour grapes.

News flash: Hollywood exploits women. Yes, actresses allow themselves to be exploited, but nevertheless, Hollywood expects it.

Almost every actress who's garnered a fair number of roles in TV or cinema ends up:

Playing a hooker
Having a cringingly realistic simulated (one hopes) sex scene (apart from the adult industry. I'm talkin' main stream movies)
having a cringingly realistic simulated childbirth scene

Some of the biggest names have done all of those things. I wish I had a dollar for every time I saw an A lister or a B lister do any or all of the above.

Kirstie's no different. She's in a tough business and god knows, she has self esteem and body issues- which are also rampant in Hollyweird.

I think that if she weren't a cultie, not so many people would be so snarky about her behavior.

I don't like that she's enabling and abetting a criminal cult and I have a sneaking suspicion that she knows some or even all of what they do- how toxic they are. That is the only beef I have with her.

I hope she goes on trampin' out and flipping people off. I think that's rad.

^^ Group agreement doesn't make something acceptable, Claire.

Not every actor or actress made their career by being exploited.

I'm with Purple, it was sexual harassment and I'm not going to excuse it because "everyone does it". Kirsty's career is over, she needs to move on.

Last week she was on Dr. Oz. I thought it was really very strange that she joked non stop about wanting sex. LRH became so sex obsessed later in life that parts of the upper bridge seem to discourage even heterosexual sex between married individuals. I turned it off after 5 minutes because the joke just seemed pathetic the tenth time she made it.

Nothing wrong with the kiss.

The thing y'all oughta be up in arms about is when, as part of the fancy dance moves, that poor bastard had to drag her more than ample frame across the dance floor.
Now THAT was abuse! Poor bugger probably dislocated both shoulders. It ain't right I tell y'.

This is what gets ratings up, makes advertising time worth more, gets viewership up, and creates that precious water-cooler talk about Kirsty.

It's all rehearsed, scripted, and not given to chance nor spontaneity. Thank goodness she didn't do a sexytime video "leak".

The upside is, that sooner or later, she'll change from yelling at anyone who brings up Scientology, to someone who has washed their hands of the whole problem of Scientology. And that means all of it. Nothing good ever comes of Scientology exposure, and that now includes being associated with it. No, it's not 'bigotry', it's necessity to expose the cult for what it is.

Once she joins reality, her career will bounce back. And yes, I just said bounce.

Kirstie's career as a serious comedic actress is over, but her ability to hire for gigs where she comes across as a desperate loon isn't over. She could always goe the route that Octomom has taken... soft porn masturbation DVDs.. she's making alot of money from the exploitation gigs.

Yeah, her career has gone into a tail spin, save her doing celebrity-driven tv appearances. She is a celebrity now but she used to be an actress.

It doesn't seem hard to understand why her acting career in feature went down in flames a decade ago. She did have some hit films back in the day with Look Who's Talking, etc.

Nothing wrong with being a tv actress and she had an incredibly successful run on Cheers and some other tv projects.

But, being in Scientology (despite their hyperbolic claims to the opposite) has a very damaging effect on an artist. Their goal shifts from entertaining to salvaging. They write admin scales how their acting roles can be used as a platform to "get LRH tech in" on the "mankind".

That is not a good goal for an actor.

Then (like Cruise and others) they begin to use up their "reserve" account that is filled with fan base and industry good will and support. They "spend" all that currency in the service of the cult, exactly the same way parishioners spend all their savings and go into debt in order to go "up the Bridge".

The bottom line that they lose respect for what got them to the top in the first place. They incorrectly assign it all to Ron and his "tech" rather than themselves and their own talent and efforts.

Kirstie is a cult member and she is trying very hard to "blend in" with the wog culture. There is a palpable deceit in that.

I wonder how bad does it have to get for a cult celeb to just pack it in and reboot their lives. Cruise and Travolta keep charging ahead and running into brick walls. They don't seem to smart.

Lisa Marie figured it out. Bravo!

Wonder who the next celeb blow will be?

Smurf!! Really?! She's a naughty girl from Kansas who misses the days when everyone wanted to fuck her - Madison Avenue's wet dream for its multi-billion dollar weight loss industry. She's positioned to be weight loss queen for the rest of her life if she doesn't fuck it up.

And although dignity prohibits me from watching "Reality TV", I can think of worse things than pullin' down fat stacks with the dancing show.

Oh come on Claire. Kirsty is a die hard scio who is preaching the gospel whenever she can.

She's what, OT VIII? (I think) and telling us all how the "religion" works, whilst she still suffers all the typical wog complaints.

If it's that good, she should become a size 6 overnight. Cure insanity in an instant with her ultra sanity thought rays. Cure druggies with a word and a postulate....

What about this one: with a wave of her finger have acting job offers flowing over her dainty feet? Her OT powers should make this a given, you know, **POOF**, and there you are! What problems?? I'm SO at cause.

Unfortunately, all I see is an ageing sad lady desperate to find some meaning in her life and cannot let go of scientology because it would mean standing on her own two feet and perhaps she is too terrified to do so. Just a guess. She is not ageing well, both physically and what appears to be mentally. As a result, we will see more and more erratic behaviour from her in time to come, IMO.

Has she been a victim of the physical beauty race and not of becoming a lady with presence and class? (NB: class does not necessarily mean "of money"). I don't hold anything personally against her and I sincerely hope she finds something sane to cling to instead.

To me she is a classic case in point that says "Scientology does not work". She is also a poster child of the cult and as such a target. I know it's naughty of me to poke fun at her, but I can't help myself sometimes. < he made me do it!

In the end I wish her well and that she finds her mind and sanity and comes over to real life.

I don't care about her sexual behaviour except when it is uninvited, nonconsensual and unreciprocated. That grosses me out no matter who does it. And yeah, see how she likes some other woman doing that to HER husband. Classy. And the celebrity thing has nothing to do with it except that that makes the power differential even worse. What was the poor guy supposed to do except try and laugh it off? She was WAY out of line.
