Here's the dance video from tonight's DWTS (Week 4 - Cha-Cha).

JB - No winners in our music bet tonight, so next week's wager is 'double-or-nothing'.
(Loser Gauntlet = silly string + water balloons + verbal abuse. Double Loser Gauntlet is...?)

Wow, and again, watching this was hard. It really looked like she might start crying, and she doesn't have any reason to cry in the context. I did 8 or more years of dance (I'm old, I forget:) the exact number of years)... she's dancing like a maniac for someone who has no experience. I get this weird idea that she's decided she's 'dancing for her life' in a way. I haven't been watching this season... just the clips of her here, and as wonderfully as she's doing for no experience, from past seasons, if they have similar talent this season, she won't win. I really hope she doesn't take it as a "loss" if it gets to that... her comments on the show have done more to disable the cult than most of the journalism that has come out (no offense to Tony Ortega... but DWTS has a HUGE audience, like it or not... hopefully, folks will discover Tony after hearing Leah, because I am a ginormous fan of Mr. Ortega).

Leah scored 24/30 tonight as well as did Snooki & Christina Milan. Valerie Harper got an 18. I suspect tomorrow night will be her last.

I think she has it in herself to win. The butterfly is busily growing in that cocoon - we're just seeing the surface at the moment. And, yes, there's a sort of life metaphor happening there - if she finds this thing in herself she'll be okay. In every way that counts that will be winning really, but I do feel she has the guts and the something... that je ne sais quoi... in there to reach down and pull out and win. In the words of Lisa Marie I think we ain't seen nothin' yet. It's a kind of real life pilgrim's progress going on inside her each week.

To be honest there are five year olds who know more than me about literally every aspect pf dancing (they are called girls). But I have to say that with the music off that looked utterly rubbish. Basically each 'move' as if it was at the special olympics.

still, given the applause, should pwn scicunts cuz lets face it if they could compete they wpuld have done...

Yeah, fortitude-wise, I'm sure she'd be able to win. And like I said, I haven't been watching the whole show. The other seasons I saw, did have people who did bring out the dance talent, and I think it just might fall short. She says she has never been a dancer, and to someone who has danced, yeah I see that. I hope she continues dancing... honestly, she does have a flair for it, and I think it might be one of those things that is an awesome way to drop away the cult... when you have to engage your mind and your body in an activity, the programming tends to drop away--it's why I like acting.

It would be nice if she can wear a shirt to practice for DWTS with this on the front of it:

Me too!

Update for next week's DWTS show: Each remaining contestant will tell a personal story about his/her "Most Memorable Year".

Leah's most memorable year would be...?

2012 - when she had a meeting in October with DM (around the same time Kirstie Alley refused to help with Hurricane Sandy relief efforts) and when he told her to purchase/send TWTH booklets to the East Coast, she told him, "The real friggin' way to happiness is straight through that friggin' door, buddy, and I am out of here. D'you notice how my blown-tone's way more effective than tone-40, little man?"

2006 - when she was told she 'didn't have the effin' rank' to ask about the whereabouts of Shelly Miscavige at TC's wedding and a wispy doubt crossed her mind for the first time...and remained even after 3 months of sec checks.

2013 - when she called Tommy Davis and said, "Dude, I totally get what happened way back then. We're cool. You tell the truth, I'll tell the truth and it'll help everybody. Isn't that what kept us in - wanting to help everybody? Now, we really can. Depositions, shmepositions - we got this!"

20__ - when she thought about her own daughter joining the sea org and felt 'anxious', not 'proud'.

^^^^Obviously, I made these up, but I truly do wonder if she will include a reference to Co$ in whatever 'most memorable year' story she shares on the show next week.

I am so very very happy for Leah. She thought that being in DWTS would in her words, get herself "Out of my head, ..out of these bad habits"

and as I watched all of her performances and standing before the judges after each one I can really see that is very much well on it's way with her. and.....

this abodes well for her as I believe from many times myself completely dancing the night away there is nothing like being totally into the music and your partner to fully and artfully express the particular dance. Leah is so moving in that direction.

Re: Leah Remini - DWTS - "Most Memorable Year" - Preview?

Tomorrow night, each of the remaining celebrity participants on DWTS will share their "Most Memorable Year", with a story about what made the year so memorable.

In an interview immediately following last week's performance, Leah Remini gave a hint about the year and the story -- skip ahead to 2:00 on the video below. <----She has a very pretty smile -- I'd never seen it before.

Re: Leah Remini - DWTS - Tomorrow's Song Is...ROAR

The song choices for tomorrow night's DWTS show were leaked online and Leah Remini's choice for Week 5 is: "Roar" by Katy Perry.

Not a fan of pop music? Please read the lyrics -- they're in-sync with someone who's not willing to be silenced by another.

She already filed a missing person report on Shelly AND staged a photo of herself carrying Blown For Good AND dished to talk shows about a drunk Norman Starkey making a pass at Brooke Shields at Tom Cruise's wedding and we're GONNA hear her roar? As in future tense?

Can't wait...... :drama:

I'd say voluntarily agreeing to be deposed qualifies as a roar, no?

Whatever we see in the pre-taped interview portion of tomorrow night's show, imo, will have been 'cleared' by attorneys for ABC-TV.
Whatever Leah Remini says during the "live" portion of the broadcast...? :cake:

Whatever Leah Remini says during the post-show interview? More :cake:

I'd like to hear...

"forced abortions"
"breaks-up families"
"financial shenanigans"
"criminal surveillance"

...but she's on her own path and it's not my place to demand she pick-up the pace.

JB (<---Working on a new group wager for tomorrow night's tv party since we can't bet on the song. Hmmm...)
