Per a few 'uncharitable' friends/family members*, his antics remind them of someone** near and dear to their hearts, so they sent me the link. If they'd all belly-up and get their own ESMB memberships, I could use the as-yet-never-used 'ignore' function. A-hem.

Tambourine Guy is Tim Kubart, who performs in his own band, 'Tim & the Space Cadets' (no, it is not a Scilon band). He performs for most children audiences.

Leah & Tony are scheduled as the 5th couple to dance tonight (after Jack Osborne) -- but -- I don't know when they'll broadcast the pre-taped interview portion, which may well be of interest to folks here.
Tonight's theme is "Most Memorable Year" and each celeb will provide a story behind their particular year's selection.
Earlier in this thread you can watch/hear Leah give a hint which year she picked -- and you can also see her smile, which shouldn't be 'comment-worthy' since she's an actress, but I honestly did a double-take when she smiled because I'd never seen her do so. It's at the end of the video -- check it out.
See earlier on this thread, too, for tonight's song -- "Roar" by Katy Perry - (3 versions! One with lyrics! One without instruments! One a la Motown!) -- and the dance is listed as "contemporary" -- um, that'd be freestyle or something similar? :confused2:
Each show is 2 hours long. As the number of competitors drop, the amount of time spent on the remaining participants increases.
The longer Leah Remini stays on the show, the more it irritates DM - the guy with too much on his plate as it is. ('Nother helping, Slappy? Yes!)

As an aside on this, last night in the middle of the night, it hit me about the comment the cult issued about Leah, the "self-absorbed" one... and I flashed back to the TC "handling" of Matt Lauer. In staff meeting, the DSA briefed us on the segment, and we were later shown a recording of it . During the briefing the DSA was saying how awesome it is, and how TC was shutting him down, etc. Then, when we saw the segment, I remember going "OMFG, this guy makes Scientologists look like we're all nut". I was just wishing he'd shut up--but everyone else was cheering and hi-fiving...
So, it just reminded me what the mindset is, and I'm sure they don't see the Remini comment as a foot-bullet, and are instead just celebrating the fuck out of handling it so beautifully...

Kiwis reporting in for voting duty. Complied. All 9 votes done. The joys the internet brings never end. I can sit at my kitchen table in the middle of nowhere in a small nation many many in the United States of America have no friggin' idea how to find on a map and vote for our Leah and Tony.
But...yeah, yeah, I know, there is always a friggin' "but" with me...
I do my voting thing. I do it correctly, I register, I fill out the form. I get it right. I feel proud. I feel a strong sense of international community. I feel good! And then, a vid appears entitled "watch our team" and I am excited and then, a damn message appears which basically tells me I am an outsider, an outcast, I am not worthy of watching the vid because I am outside of the US.
My heart is broken. But I have voted.
