Leah Remini has been declared a suppressive person

I think she should laminate her Declare and put it in her resume under the heading of Cult Survivor Specialist.

I was trying to say what Emma replied in post #49. The good ones leave and get declared while the whack jobs stay and become even more dedicated/fanatical.

My heart is actually broken for John Travolta.

I cannot judge him for what he did after Jett's death (or not) any more than I would judge any parent who suffered the greatest possible loss in their lives, the death of their child.

And I cannot know how he has dealt with this horrible loss and where he turns to try to find any comfort from the pain.

I think Jett was beautiful and he was John's angel. And I feel so terribly sorry for John's near unbearable loss.

Here is John in the arms of his angel:

I'm sorry, I don't mean to argue here. I just want to dedicate this to John and Jett. And I pray that John finds inner peace:

I appreciate and respect your sincere, heartfelt sentiment. All in all my biggest "beef" is with Kelly Preston. After Jett's passing I truly do think that JT was re-thinking his membership and affiliation in the cult. He was mourning like a real human being, not a kool aid drinking Scilon. He was reaching out to friends outside of the cult for comfort and help. There were reports that both Kelly Preston and upper management assholes were getting impatient with JT. They apparently thought he was going overboard with this mourning thing. Scilons don't care about "dropping the body" ya know. It's really "no big deal". :eyeroll: Sympathy and mourning are very low toned.

Also JT's brother said that he warned them for years that Jett had autism and needed medical treatment.

It is a very sad situation and I do hope one day that JT finds peace. He won't find it unless that wife of his is willing to have it with him. I doubt it though. She's a hardcore Hubbardite and Miscavige-ite. I'll stop here before I go on a tirade regarding KP. I can't stand her. I think she's one mean-spirited......(fill in the blank)

I just hope we don't get a sickening display of Scientologists at Daves Max Security prison with signs that say Religious Persecution- Free Our Leader.

That day is coming. The organization of scientology is doomed. When it ends, there will be prison sentences handed out. It will be big news. When this happens, the celebs with have no choice but to speak out about it.

The only question that remains is will they speak out before this happens or after? It is best if they speak out first. Best for them, best for all the people who are still in.

Re: Leah Remini is and Expressive Trouble Multiplier and ETM.

Scientologists frequently have a misunderstanding when reading the "abilities gained" from Grade 0.

What they don't understand is that they don't yet have the permission to communicate freely with anyone on any subject.

That of course will be granted on the next level released. (presently scheduled for the year 2245)
Re: Scientology Declared Leah Remini A "Suppressive Person" - Paparazzi Education

Last night, the televised broadcast of the American Music Awards ("AMAs") was watched by millions of people.
Jennifer "JLo" Lopez performed on the show, after which she hosted a party in West Hollywood @ the Chateau Marmont.

People magazine and other online gossip sites uploaded pics of Leah Remini with JLo at the party, along with general commentary about the winners/losers at the AMAs.

Here's a short video clip of Leah Remini leaving JLo's party taken by an unnamed paparazzi.
As you'll see, Leah's alone in her car, simply trying to drive out of the hotel's parking area.

Initially, I was irked at the exchange, despite having no right to be irked at all. Who am I to demand anyone answer questions?
A moment of reflection brought clarity, however. Along with a real smile. I hope you'll smile, too.

The questions were asked.

The paparazzi asked about "super powers", "the 40 million dollar building", "Charles Manson" and as strange/weird/odd/bizarre as all that is, he asked.
That means he has the general gist of what's going on with Co$/scientology.
He really is 'the man on the street', isn't he?
He stands on the street with his camera, lobbing questions at celebrities, at all hours, to earn money.
And he knows "super powers" + "40 million dollar building" + "Charles Manson" = scientology.
He's off by 160 million dollars for the building -- okay.
But he knows Leah Remini left scientology and he knew what to ask her.

That's progress.

Isn't J Lo's Dad a long-time $cio? How does J Lo explain away her hanging out with an SP?? Oh, wait---that's right. Not all the rules apply to everyone, right?

I've no idea what, if any, repercussions have been experienced by JLo's father -- as you say, so many Co$ rules aren't evenly enforced.

What I do wonder about, however, is that prior to The Underground Bunker's very recent report that an SP order was issued for Leah Remini, she stated on The View that she'd felt "many repercussions" as a result of leaving Co$. That is, before an SP declare was ordered. Maybe one of the repercussions had something to do with Co$ bothering/hassling JLo's father?

The one rule that does seem to be consistently enforced is the one about what happens to people declared to be an SP -- they are subject to 'fair game' harassment/ruination employed by, theoretically, every member in good standing of Co$. It's chilling to think about such an insidious policy being employed against anyone for any reason.

It all comes down to HCOPL "Ethics Protection" (I'm amused that Wikipedia has a section on Scn Ethics):

"In short, a staff member can get away with murder so long as his statistic is up and can't sneeze without a chop if it's down."

...

When people do start reporting a staff member with a high statistic, what you investigate is the person who turned in the report. In an ancient army a particularly brave deed was recognized by an award of the title of Kha-Khan. It was not a rank. The person remained what he was, BUT he was entitled to be forgiven the death penalty ten times in case in the future he did anything wrong. That was a Kha-Khan. That's what producing, high-statistic staff members are - Kha-Khans. They can get away with murder without a blink from Ethics.... And Ethics must recognize a Kha-Khan when it sees one - and tear up the bad report chits on the person with a yawn

In plain English, if what you're doing, overall, is helpful to DM, you can do ANYTHING without Scn Ethics caring, even criminal acts. If you're not helpful to DM making more money, then you get slammed.

If the MAA thinks that slamming you can intimidate you into doing what Scn wants you to do (in other words, make you more a slave to Scn), then he will lean on you. If the MAA thinks that leaning on you will disaffect you, to the detriment of org stats, then you get left alone.

Even that is not consistently applied. It all depends on whether they think they can cave the guy in without blow-back. After the 1996 Portland Celebrity Center shootings, they must have some concern about what happens if they push somebody a bit too far.

You can control somebody by threatening to take away something he values. Take away too much, and you lose any control you had over him.

Or, as Janice Joplin put it, sometimes freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose.

Just to clarify, the "fair game" policy isn't necessarily applied to every declared SP. It's only available if they want to use it and normally they would only want to use it if the person in question is giving them serious problems.

I was SP declared and I sued my local org (successfully) and as a separate action I recovered all of my IAS donations and they didn't "fair game" me.

I never thought of this before: can an SP declare be reversed?

And they go back to the church. I knew several who got their declaration revoked an were back in course. They needed to do some div 6 courses, where I was their sup. They all were given long programs to follow to make amends and be able to go back to auditing and training and be accepted at flag. Most of them did.

Probably because they are worried about losing another member. EO tells Mr Lopez his daughter has to disconnect from Leah or he has to disconnect from his daughter because he no longer can receive services because he is PTS. Mr Lopez tell EO that J Lo won't do that and he wont disconnect from her and that is really too bad because Mr Lopez was thinking about doing Superpower and Gat II but it's okay he'll just chill out and go on a vacation with J Lo and Leah. EO says well Ron has this policy that states rules are made to be broken and this looks like a great time to apply this policy. Let me take you to the Reg and we'll get this all worked out.

At least that could be one version. Another way might be the what if Jo Lo father tells the church to go to hell and leaves because he has to disconnect. That would create more wonderful PR for the Co$ who is just dying to get more. Actually it occurred to me that perhaps the church looks at any PR no matter how bad it is is better than no PR. That's one way to spread the word!

When you get the "Goldenrod" announcing you have been declared an SP it tells you to do the A-E steps to get back in good standing. These are laid out in Policy and basically involve huge amounts of re-training and "making amends".

I knew of several people who had been Declared several times and kept doing their A-E steps and being re-instated.

I also knew of someone who didn't agree they should have been Declared and, after many years of trying, eventually got a Committee Of Evidence to look into it and they found that the Declare was invalid so the person was re-instated to good standing.
