Leah Remini isn’t holding back when it comes to Scientology and its No. 1 celebrity face, Tom Cruise. In her shocking new memoir, Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology, Remini makes a series of claims against the church and Cruise, 53, including one about his secretly selected girlfriend, actress Nazanin Boniadi.

The Iranian-born stunner, 35, joined the church at age 17 when her mom became a Scientologist. The King of Queens star, 45, said she met and befriended Boniadi in 2003.

“Then in late 2004, she disappeared,” the sitcom star wrote. “I wondered if Naz had gone back to her ‘real life.’ Years later, I found out what had happened to Naz during this time. She underwent a confidential mission for the church where she thought she was being prepared for a special humanitarian project, but ended up with the role of Tom’s girlfriend.”

Cruise had just split from actress Penelope Cruz after a three-year relationship, and Remini claimed the higher ups in the church decided to find Cruise a new girlfriend.

First, Remini said they allegedly convinced Boniadi to break up with her then-boyfriend by telling her he “admitted to several transgressions against” her. When she confirmed this story, she broke up with him. She was then allegedly forced to undergo a series of physical transformations to make her worthy to be by Cruise’s side.

“Her orthodontic braces were removed, her hair color was darkened, and Greg [Wilhere, a senior Sea Org executive] took her on a very expensive shopping spree in Beverly Hills to buy a new wardrobe for her mysterious meetings with ‘dignitaries,’” Remini wrote.

Eventually, she allegedly dated and lived with Cruise for three months. Throughout their secret relationship, she was supposedly asked to “report anything ‘non-optimum’ she observed in Tom so they could help him.”

Remini also claimed that officials would ask Boniadi if she thought Cruise was “happy” and one executive suggested: ”Why don’t you be more aggressive with Tom and just put your hands down his pants when you see him?”

After three months together, Boniadi was one day asked to relocate to a fancy hotel, according to Remini. She also alleges that Cruise did not contact her and she only dealt with Scientology officials who eventually ended their relationship without Cruise’s direct involvement.

“Devastated by her experience, Naz confided in a friend who seemed to want to help her,” Remini wrote. “The friend then immediately wrote up a nine-page report on Naz.”

The report caused Boniadi to be punished, moving her to a cheaper motel.

“[She was] subjected to doing four months of menial labor, including tasks such as digging ditches and cleaning public toilets with a toothbrush,” Remini wrote. “Eventually she was promoted to selling Dianetics books on the streets of Tampa…She wasn’t allowed to talk to anyone, particularly her Scientology friends, since she was considered a traitor. She was not allowed to go anywhere alone unless escorted by either church security, ethics staff, or a representative of Flag’s President’s Office.”

Showbiz 411: Leah Remini Explains Scientology’s “Billion Year Contract” and Tom Cruise’s Fake Girlfriend

http://www.showbiz411.com/2015/11/0...year-contract-and-tom-cruises-fake-girlfriend

* * * * * BEGIN EXCERPT * * * * *

Remini also goes into new details about Tom Cruise’s fake girlfriend, Nazanin Boniadi, who was handpicked for the actor and then dispensed with when she wasn’t needed.

This is what happened to Boniadi when Cruise and crew were done with her:

“Tommy [Davis, celebrity wrangler and son of actress Anne Archer] told Naz that he briefed Tom and told him that Naz was being handled. She was then quickly demoted to living in a cheaper motel, away from Cruise’s environment, and subjected to doing four months of menial labor, including tasks such as digging ditches and cleaning public toilets with a toothbrush.

Eventually she was promoted to selling Dianetics books on the streets of Tampa. Better, but still humiliating. All the while she was being deprogrammed with security checks and the PTS/ SP course. She wasn’t allowed to talk to anyone, particularly her Scientology friends, since she was considered a traitor. She was not allowed to go anywhere alone unless escorted by either church security, ethics staff, or a representative of Flag’s President’s Office. And if you ask the church, they will deny that these practices exist or that people are punished at all.

And if you ask the church, they will deny that these practices exist or that people are punished at all. One day, while being escorted to do amends, Naz saw a friend and fellow actress, Marisol Nichols. Naz smiled and said hello, but Marisol turned her back to Naz and walked off. Naz asked her escort why she would do something like that, and the woman’s response was “Why wouldn’t she? You just got done scrubbing toilets. What makes you think you have anything to talk about with a successful Scientologist like that? You have nothing in common.”

Naz had started to believe that perhaps she was as evil as they were suggesting. After all, this was her religion and they were telling her she had committed the ultimate sin of betraying Tom. Naz found her faith being tested because she couldn’t reconcile any of any of these practices her church had appeared to be behind.

But she mainly complied because her mother was still a Scientologist at the time and would have been forced to disconnect if she didn’t remain in good standing with the church. Naz’s mom, like many Scientologists, said to her daughter, “Naz, please just do what they ask and get through your punishment.” Naz’s house, as well as her mother’s house, were visited by church officials and anything Tom had ever given her— pictures of the two of them together, gifts given to her by Bella and Connor, anything of their lives together— was removed.”

I loved Naz on Homeland. I hope that like many others, she is choosing to move on with her life and look past the cult. She's probably very lucky that she ESCAPED when she did! Here's hoping that he has a very lucrative Hollywood future!

This another thread with enormously entertaining blockbuster revelations from Leah's book.

Wondering if perhaps it couldn't be merged with the other LEAH threads?

Anyways, wild and wacky cult secrets are flying!

The cult "crazies" & "cringies" are also exploding out--like BTs shooting out of volcanos. LOL

Hey, if anyone actually tried to buy this quantity of devastating BAD PUBLIC RELATIONS against Scientology, it would probably cost more than one-hundred million dollars. Seriously.

Please no. I have been trying to add to existing threads, but deliberately chose to create this thread as a separate thread so it would better show up on Google. I find thread titles tend to be higher ranked.

EDITED TO ADD:

I have always thought that Nazanin's treatment by both the Church of Scientology and Tom Cruise (seriously, could the "man" be more of a non-confront coward?) was particularly reprehensible, and have always been bothered by the fact that it hasn't gotten more attention.

I find the fact that no reporter has asked Tom Cruise about his treatment of Nazanin to be disgusting.

How would it be possible to make an Iranian girl's hair, darker?

Naz should write a book (maybe a shorter book than Leah's)

I would live to see the Katie Holms book or better yet Nichole Kidman book, or one big book of celebrity experiences.

Lisa Marie Presley, unlike Nazanin Boniadi and Nicole Kidman has never signed a non-disclosure agreement.

She has left Scientology, believes it is an "evil cult", and she is also a mother, like Leah. Her mother, Priscilla, is still a Scientologist, and perhaps this this why she has not spoken out. Also, her marriage to Michael Jackson, and the role that Scientology played have never been disclosed AFAIK.

Now would be a good time for Lisa Marie to say something...

Yeah, Leah says Katie was dragged through so much sec checking leading up to her divorce that it caused her to lose her house.

So, Leah and Katie have talked behind the scenes?

And Naz definately talked to Leah.
Naz is supposed to be under an NDA but people are no longer taking them seriously.

7. Actress Nazanin Boniadi was 'punished with manual labour'

Remini isn’t the first to make the claim about the ‘auditioning process’ for the part of Cruise’s girlfriend in 2004 (post Penelope Cruz and pre-Katie Holmes), but she has made more detailed allegations. Remini says that Naz (who has also left the church) secretly dated Cruise for three months and was eventually dumped via Scientology officials.

When she confided in a friend that she was disappointed, her friend wrote up a report and Naz was reportedly punished. “[She was] subjected to doing four months of menial labor, including tasks such as digging ditches and cleaning public toilets with a toothbrush,” Remini wrote in her book.

Today, we’re taking a look at the FBI’s interview of Boniadi, which took place on January 8, 2010 in Los Angeles. All names have been stripped from the FBI’s 5-page interview summary, except for one stray “Naz” that got through.

I wonder if Naz reported anything 'non-optimum' in Cruise. Well, his dick could be bigger, but not much Scientology could do about that.

Do Sea Org members put their hands down Cruise's pants to please him? It doesn't sound very ecclesiastical. Something they learned from auditing, or was it Cruise's request to have a Sea Org member mention that?

She could report, "He's too close to his little friend, David Miscavige. There's something queer about it."

Really, what could she possibly ever report about Cruise, knowing they went through this elaborate charade just to get them together?

I agree that it is an important and unusual story. This was not just some date which went awry. She saw him for three months, and then spent four months at Flag doing amends. She could have been doing a year of medical school during that time instead of Tom Cruise and punishment.

It says a lot about Cruise, Miscavige and Scientology that they thought scrubbing floors or selling Dianutty was going to help her or teach her a lesson. She felt deceived about the setup, upset about falling for Cruise to some degree, and then bewildered and embarrassed about being dumped. First she gets the enchanted princess treatment, and then she's discarded like a used condom.

There are undoubtedly thousands of women in the world who would marry Tom Cruise, with no date at all. But I can see how a Scientologist would feel flattered but conflicted and weird about the whole thing, if given the opportunity to date him. What if it went wrong? I wonder if Naz felt a lot of pressure to "make it go right," and maybe she thought Cruise had special powerz to make it go right also.

One of the biggest changes, even if you were crazy in love with Cruise and loved being around him, would be living in a glass bowl, having paparazzi follow you wherever you went. How could you ever be yourself when Cruise is obsessed with his image, and wants you as an image enhancer? Every time reporters are near, you have to start making out with him, just because he wants his image to be that of the great lover. That would get old, especially if he rarely behaved that passionately toward you in private.
