It's crazy-making to try to make sense out of crazy. But I can't figure out how that Marty-hater site does anything positive for the cult. Bizarre.

On another topic -- I miss Kha Khan, who started this thread. Kha Khan, if you're out there,

I believe it gets worse, or is worse (than a silly 'feel good' exercise) Veda. For the simple reason in Spiritual affairs/considerations *Self-Identification* is Senior to all other affairs/considerations. As a practical matter any word (or words) used to follow the universal & unconditioned self-announcement, *I Am*, is unwittingly taken to being equal to the actual presence announcing itself. Which it is not. Thus we have (& see) religious absurdities trumping human decencies owing to individuals defining themselves as ______, fill in the blank, over and over again. Ad infinitum I dare say.

In other words individuals of any religious camp, company or persuasion that assume their fundamental Self-Identity of Being, as being I Am *that*, tend to unconsciously consign themselves to a life of conditional servitude to the furtherance of the intentions aims and or goals of that camp, company or persuasion, at the profoundly steep cost of their own Individualized & Unconditioned Reality of Being (i.e. their Higher Prior Being).

Being harmless at one level and insidious at another, at the same time.

Of course such gross Self mis-identification is not confined to the regulatory realms of religion alone, but it is here where such fundamental spiritual error rears its ugly head, in terms of a subtle (or not so subtle) absence of human decency, kindness, tolerance et al.

While KSW is a publicly known (or knowable) so-called spiritual policy, at present, a KISW policy is just around the corner, or just under the covers.

Very good point. "I AM," is complete in and of itself.

The Indie 500 PDF | Print | E-mail Monday, 22 February 2010 13:29

Your life belongs to you. Not to corporate Scientology, a self-appointed dictator/sciopath, or his PTS sycophants. Let's move Scientology toward normalcy by ending the heavily-abused practice of enforced disconnection. Get your name on the list, be one of the first 500 indie Scientologists and take your life back. The ranks of indie Scientologists are growing daily. With enough names on the list we will break the back of disconnection, not because of this list, but because of the power of your communication lines being restored.

Names appear in random sequence. As an independent Scientologist you are your own leader.
ANYONE WHO USES ANY PART OF SCIENTOLOGY TECH, even if other parts are not true for you, is welcomed to be on this list. LRH said what's true for you is what's true for YOU. A person who blindly accepts everything is a robot not a Scientologist. Anyone who retains the right to their own integrity belongs on this list. Freezoners are naturally invited. Send your name to Thoughtful (Steve Hall) at [email protected] (copy and paste the address) and don't forget details such as years in Scientology, training and process level, or years on staff.

No, because the List specifically states:If an Ex doesn't use any part of the Tech, then the Ex is not welcome on the list, doesn't belong on the list, and probably doesn't want to be on the list anyway.
/

Does this include that one Tech I think its called the Morning Tech where in the morning when you wake up you open your eyes? It's so awesome of Ron to have figured that Tech out ;-)

You laugh, but how many fat old men worked out how to have nubile girls in white hotpants lifting their eyelids for them when they woke up?

TL;DR summary of interesting points emphasized below:
  1. ....
  2. ...
  3. At least a partial rejection of the practice of "enforced disconnection." However, the phrase, "heavily-abused practice of enforced disconnection" disturbingly seems to imply that a policy of "enforced disconnection" that is not "heavily abused" may be acceptable.
This just amazes me. They want so bad to do the right thing, but just can't muster the courage to admit that some Scn administrative doctrine is destructive to its own long term survival, especially in light of changing times and circumstances.

If LRH were still alive, he would have drastically changed disconnection policy once he realized it was about to destroy his religion and had already destroyed hundreds of families. Same goes for child neglect and the RPF. I believe Debbie Cook, and with a billion in cash reserves, I think it might be time to abolish the 16 hour workday parents, and there's certainly no longer a need for the RPF.

There are other suboptimal conditions that could easily be remedied, but I will not interfere with a grown adult's right to choose a life that includes triple stacked, sardine packed bunk beds and long work hours. Child abuse and slavery are entirely different matters. I must object to any plan of action that accepts the status quo concerning children, families, abortion, and the RPF.

So who's the leader with a plan? Enough about Evil Dave already. Nobody in the actual real world cares who Scientology's "ecclesiastic leader" is. They care about what he or she does.

So who's got the plan? Your religion is dying before our very eyes, so I would speak up soon.

When "LRH was alive," he invented these, and enforced them.

You don't think he knew?

These things are not destroying "his religion." That's a wrong interpretation, IMO.

Here's an outline of Scientology during its period of greatest expansion:

http://www.forum.exscn.net/showthread.php?2697-Table-of-Contents-Psychopolitics-revisited

It's established. The monument has been built. It's done. Hubbard succeeded.

Now it's up to the hapless Hubbardites to argue over what he meant. :)

Have to correct a huge travesty on this list.

Poor little Ray Krenik doesn't have his credentials after his name. It should read "book one auditor".

I was expecting this response, just not so quickly! And you're absolutely right, these things should have been addressed long ago.

I'm just trying not to be too brutal toward those who want to do the right thing but cannot bring themselves to disagree with anything LRH said. I believe there are people on that list who could do amazing things if they took over, and I don't want to discourage them.

You don't want to discourage them from taking over Scientology by telling them the truth about Hubbard and Scientology. Okay. :) :headspin:

I don't want to discourage the possibility of alleviating the suffering. I don't personally have the desire to destroy Scientology. There are a lot of good people in Scientology and I hope they can make it work.

If changes are not made, I do believe the church will eventually self destruct under the weight of its own misery. More Scientology Kids' stories are being made as we speak. Shall we watch the carnage while everyone hopes Scientology implodes? I'd rather see the misery end and Scientology succeed for those who want it.

Scientology is on the path towards self destruction and you don't want that to happen. Okay.

So, the misery is going to end by having people run Scientology who can't confront what Scientology actually is? That's not likely.

Unfortunately, there's going to be some misery in Scientology - as long as it's Scientology - along with fraud, bait and switch, psychological manipulation, and artificially induced mental illness, by way of a system of intimate mental probing and conditioning, also known as "Hubbard Guidance" and the "Grade Chart."

Scientology's game has been to make things so bad, that, by making them slightly less bad, we are supposed to be relieved. Tighten the screws, loosen the screws, tighten the screws, loosen the screws, etc.

Disconnection and Fair Game extend logically from Hubbard's earliest writings, going back to his Tone Scale writings of 1951. The first half of Fair Game is trick and lie to.

And it's natural to be relieved when the screws are loosened.

In time, someone will come along who will loosen the screws slightly. There will be celebrations.

Tighten, loosen, tighten, loosen. tighten, loosen, etc.

That's the model, and the pattern.
