Hello everyone,
I have lurked here for quite some time before going ahead and registering. I have been out for well over a decade and was only in for about a year. In that year I took several classes at a mission, began to do some auditing, joined the Sea Org, and blew from the Sea Org. The effects of what I learned and what I saw go on in the Sea Org stay with me to this day. I did get some positives from Scientology, but am grateful that I got out when I did versus spending my life dedicated to something that dysfunctional.

For me Kercue, this is a hearwarming story. You could have indeed destroyed your life and bankrupted every relative you have. I had a very similar experience over thirty years ago, and walking out that door was the most liberating moment of my entire life.
