Classic Scientology gambit.

SCIENTOLOGY PRIEST: "Okay, here is your r-factor. It doesn't work for you, that's because you are f*cked up. But it works for really, really important people that are much better than you like movie stars & monks, so just hang in there and maybe one day you'll get these miraculous gains you keep reading about."

SCIENTOLOGIST: "Wow, that totally indicates. My case feels all fuzzy, warm and calm now."

..."Prior to founding Scientology, Hubbard gave a lecture entitled "What's Wrong with This Universe: A Working Package for the Auditor" on December 9, 1952. In it, Hubbard describes some of the "between lives" implants that supposedly occur to us after we die and before we reincarnate. One of these implants, called "The Emanator", is supposedly the origin of Islam. Hubbard claims that The Emanator was the source of the "Mohammedan Lodestone". Hubbard further describes the Prophet Muhammad as a small town booster that mocked up [made up] Islam only because business wasn't good in his hometown. [7]

Further, Muslims respect and love Jesus. See Quran, 3:45, 4:171, 19:16-33, 21:91. Islam teaches that Jesus was a true and genuine messenger of God. See Quran, 61:14. The Quran rebukes those who reject Jesus. See Quran, 2:87, 4:156-158. Muslims believe in the miracles that Jesus performed by God's leave. See Quran, 5:110.
The Quran states:

  • "Say "We believe in God, and the revelation given to us, and the revelation given to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob and the Tribes, and that given to Moses and Jesus, and that given to (all) prophets from their Lord: We make no distinction between one and another of them, and to Him we are submitters." [9] [10]
In contrast, the Church of Scientology teaches in its secret Class 8 Auditor's [ministerial] class that, like Islam, Christianity is the result of an evil memory "implant" designed to control people. [8] Hubbard goes on to state that there was no Jesus, and that Christianity is based on watching the behavior of madmen. In Class 8, Lecture 10, Hubbard states that the leaders of the Christian Church used brainwashing, invented Christ, and seized power.

Scientology admits that its promise that there is no "necessity to leave your current . . . mosque." is a lie. In its application for tax exempt status, the Church of Scientology told the IRS:

  • "Footnote 6: Although there is no policy or Scriptural mandate expressly requiring Scientologists to renounce other religious beliefs or membership in other churches, as a practical matter Scientologists are expected to and do become fully devoted to Scientology to the exclusion of other faiths. As Scientologists, they are required to look only to Scientology Scriptures for the answers to the fundamental questions of their existence and to seek enlightenment only from Scientology." [11]"

Thank you for posting that, Al! I am going to share it at my local Ramadan Iftar dinner, which I attend every year as a community leader. No OSA, I am not a Muslim! :p

All I can say about all of this is Happy Ramadan, everybody!!! Salaam Alaikum to all my Muslim Brothers and Sisters.

I will be praying for peace and enlightened understanding for all involved. Alhamdulillah!

Take a good look....

The title of Marty's thread today was "Louis Farrakhan gets L Ron Hubbard"

He was excited that Louis Farrakhan made a speech where he was obviously using Scientology concepts and making comments to de-emphasize the crass materialism we find in our world today (I wonder what Farrakhan's house looks like? A shack? I doubt it)

Anyway...

Marty's excited that Minister Farrakhan "gets" L Ron Hubbard because Marty's view of LRH is that he was not a materialistic guy.

I'll say that again:

Marty's excited that Minister Farrakhan "gets" L Ron Hubbard because Marty's view of LRH is that he was not a materialistic guy.

Anyway....

A poster made a remark later in the day today, after many other comments had been put up.

The poster said this:

And Marty responded thusly:

Marty's thread is emanating a weird vibe!

That's because not everyone is in a agreement with him. They have all kinds of differing responses - like no thread I've ever seen on Marty's blog!!!

He even lashed out at Scott Campbell - the guy he profiled just yesterday.

Marty's thread is emanating a weird vibe!!!

That weird vibe is called "individual expression of opinion!!!"

Woo-hoo!!

Cognitive dissonance= "weird vibe" to Marty...It's all good, I think that's a further sign that he and others posting there are waking up more fully!  I hope they experience and learn to tolerate more "weird vibes" of this sort. May they all wake up fully, and flourish and thrive as free beings.

You go Marty bloggers- Read more, discuss more..."Look, don't think!!!" Research the history of the "Nation of Islam" aka Black Muslims while you're at it. Do you think LRH would have wanted them in his church? OR would he have called them DB's or SP's, or worse?

About the "we're not here to do Scientology, we're just here to do Dianetics" viewpoint...boy, those Regges will say ANYTHING to sell, won't they? :eyeroll:

I wonder what the Regges are going to do when those guys finish their Dianetics Course and aren't there for Scientology?

I just put on the evening news and saw this....

NEWSCASTER: "So, recapping our top story of the day, a really really crazy, evil, lying guy Ron Hubbard made up some super silly, non-working tech that he sold to Scientologists for about a half million dollars each. Then a really really crazy, evil lying guy COB took over the cult using Hubbard's super silly non-working tech. Then a really really crazy evil lying guy Rathbun set up his own cult by claiming that COB is altering the super-silly non-working tech so that it really really doesn't work. Then a really really crazy evil lying guy Rev Louis Farrakhan decided he wanted a piece of the super-silly non-working tech for his cult. In a related story, Freezoners and Indies became extremely disoriented when they could not decide which of those 4 insane criminal cult leaders had the best super-silly non-working tech."

Are you serious where? (Sorry just started reading this thread & on WWP).

I wonder what the Scio equivalent of a suicide bomber is? I guess there are a few who really do commit suicide as a result of their association with the CofS. But doesn't a suicide bomber — a genuine one, not some dupe told to drive a truck somewhere and then it gets blown up remotely without his consent — have some idea of doing it for the glorious cause? Maybe with promises of some personal perks thrown in?

When I got to hear Steve Hassan speak several months ago he spoke about how the mind control tech that is used to create scientologists and moonies consists of essentially the same techniques used to create the suicide bombers. It's just another cult, and those suicide bombers "know" that they *are* doing it for the glorious cause.

Somewhere on this board there is a video where Hassan speaks about this, but not sure exactly which one or where in the video it is. It's either in the 10-15 minute talk he gave at the recent Boston Megaraid or else it is somewhere in the 1 hour discussion he is in with Larry Brennan and Nancy Many.

The Nation of Islam and Scientology working for the same purpose & goal is entirely preposterous.

Makes no sense of any kind, whatsoever. However...

In the world of fundamental religious terrorist organizations (Hamas, al-Qaeda, Taliban, et al....) there are frequent collaborations between rivals in order to leverage their ability to terrorize and thus extort greater sums of money from their marks, victims and supporters.

Recognizing that Nation of Islam and Scientology are both religious terrorist groups makes it easy to understand their alliance.

And...anyone who doesn't know that Scientology's stock and trade is religious terrorism (psychological, financial and otherwise) failed the test and did not get LRH.

Hint for Indies: If you are still writing Success Stories about "wins from the tech" (and think this proves Scientology is NOT a terrorist organization) you might want to read some of the glorious "success stories" from suicide bombers in the notes they left behind.
Yeah, to this. I'm not at all well informed on international politics, but from where I sit, I kinda liken this to something like North Korea allying with Indonesia to combat Australia.

Best or worst scenario and whatever the state of play, not good.

It probably will not end well:

Yes, when I saw those guys on Sparrow's video my first thought is why does the cult have Nation of Islam thugs acting as body guards.

Wow.

Louis Farrakhan is an evil nutjob.

Hopefully.Marty's followers are all be cringing in horror at his latest post and wondering if Marty lost his mind.

Does Marty not know that Independents have access to Google?
Talk about NOT thinking his support of NOI through!
No doubt MR will eventually lose his base for supporting NOI's leader.

Google is turning up references to an NoI paramilitary group called the 'Fruit of Islam'. I can't tell what sort of organization they have, though it doesn't seem to be naval. But they do have uniforms, only a lot less gaudy than those Sea Org outfits with the humungous gold lanyards.
