and you're not getting out of here until you do it anyway, so just relax and give us your credit cards and plan to stay here until you're finished with it. And just incase you're planning on sneaking out without doing this..
Well the OEC are being released since 2001. I used to reg people to donate for the OEC volumes when there were discounts for those. Nothing happened, nothing being release. + I can say that the OEC are out of date. The Technology out there or out here
is changing so fast due to the internet, new technologies in businesses... that the OEC are useless. Since being out (for few years) I have read quite some books and I can tell you that lots of them are better than the OEC BECAUSE they are aline to the technologie in PT (I love this "PT" word
).
so OEC = USELESS and produced to make money for the church - that's all.
I am guessing it will be a brand spanking new "How to handle the antagonistic public" PR course pack and checksheet. Something new to divert the public from doing what they wanted to do in the first place, which was...oh what was that now?? ...oh, going up the bridge. Auditor training and levels. That's right! Being more able, helping people...oh yeah, I can vaguely remember that. It will be yet a new way to eat their young. Make them pay for something old in a new shiny package! It will probably include brand new individual scientologist web page creation CDs, complete with a new anti-scientology filter!! (The old program is likely obsolete and people got new computers since then, etc...so time for a re-do!!!)
Maybe they will have "What do you do?" drills like "What do you do if someone gives you an anti-scientology book.'" Answer: Take the book (so no-one else will have it) and turn it into your nearest ethics officer with a name and photo.
Or: What do you do if someone sends you a link with an anti-scientology web site? Answer: Capture the email address of the sender and your own along with the email and forward it to OSA. OSA can then hack both your emails.
There will probably be verbatim drills also! They will probably have to be able to rattle off what countries scn. is in and the false number of starts in each.
Maybe they will have to memorize and spit out the names of all the declared sps without flubbing.
So glad I won't be partaking!
ive been running businesses for many years using the technology contained in those books. . . i do find there needs to be updates for internet inclusion, e-mail, and different marketing... i dont exactly use telexes. . .
which business books are better? what would you recommend?
Give it a rest, Jase, it's over.ive been running businesses for many years using the technology contained in those books. . . i do find there needs to be updates for internet inclusion, e-mail, and different marketing... i dont exactly use telexes. . .

LRH bath soap on a rope (unscented) and hovering ashtray, complete with a pinch of LRH's ashes.

Ew. . . .
Maybe it's the new faster Academy Levels checksheets. Although if the new faster e-meter checksheet is anything to go by. . . .

Yeah, I was thinking it might be the new quickie grades released at last since the pilot was done, hence a sup and an auditor being sent to Flag.
We shall see...
I love the words "expected to take part in".
My educated guess on this is that The Basics has run its course and the last release did very poorly so it's time to drum up new business.
Maiden Voyage - This will be the launching of the SS Clearwater which has been purchased in secret and fully refitted with the most modern of satellite internet technology. The technology will allow remote CS direct from Flag in a multi-tasking real time.
Another angle to this training/release is to keep the existing tech staff on a new 5 year contract upon their return to their orgs.
The numbers of local staff has slowly declined here. I know that 2 of the staff that were sent for this training were at the tail end of their contracts.
Yes, that's a nifty way to keep staff forever. They sign up for 2 1/2 years, then when they've been there 2 years you FORCE them to go to flag for training, BUT they also have to sign a new 5 year contract that only STARTS when they get back from training. While they are training, which they are told will take 6 months or less, the org is so broke that it can't pay for their room and board. So now they are on "work-study" meaning they work at least half the day (?) and only study half-time, so the training time is doubled. Now you find out that the estimated time was a total lie, it's really three times that long. Add some protest and the time it takes to clean that up, do ethics and an amends project for being so counter-intention, and the guy's away for five years, gets back, and NOW his 5 year contract starts. IF he ever routes off of staff, add a couple of years while he is trying to get himself replaced, finds someone, the SO recruiters come in and rip off that person, he finds someone else, etc. etc. When he finally blows he has put in 19 years on his original 2 1/2 year contract, AND he owes $100,000 for all the "help" they have given him that his help was too puny to be valuable for.
Actually, whatever it is will give us some idea of whether the last bunch of releases did well. Scientologists graph their statistics (i.e. gross income or new bodies routed into the shop) and determine a condition based on the overall slope of the graph. (This is totally ridiculous, by the way, because you can literally change the condition by changing the scale of the graph or even printing it on different-size paper.)
Anyway, if we see something similar, that means the old ploy worked and stats are in a condition of Normal (gentle upslope) or Affluence (strong climb). Per Hubbard, "when you are in a state of Normal Operation you don't change anything...[if] a statistic betters then look it over carefully and find out what bettered it and then do that without abandoning what you were doing before...Every time a statistic worsens slightly, quickly find out why and remedy it." For Affluence, "Discover what caused the Condition of Affluence and strengthen it." (Aren't you just bowled over by Hubbard's business acumen?)
If the stats are flat or dropping slightly, you have an Emergency condition: "Change your operating basis." If the stats are dropping sharply, that's Danger: "Reorganise the activity so that the situation does not repeat."
You can read the condition formulas in more detail in the Ethics Book or here:
http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~dst/Library/Shelf/vosper/10.html
Anyway, based on what they do, we will have some idea as to whether previous events have been successful. Surely the big events like Maiden Voyage and Birthday are helping stats, because the Church continues to do them.
Remember, Hubbard replaces individual thought with his own, so Scientologists are generally very, very predictable.

I rather go to plotless slasher flick then go to any of these events.![]()
