Just saw an ad for 60 Minutes this coming Sunday featuring Marty. Looks good.
I can't find the preview on their website but this teaser is on Facebook if you can see it:

This should be good. Marty is pretty much at the point in his exit evolution where he can really deal a knockout blow to the cult. I will be watching.

Thanks. I hope he has something new to say. Of course it will be new to 99% of the viewers anyway.

Luvved that gasping "hold-your-breath" last shot of Mr. M.

But for me, I'll keep breathing till the show is up . . . be interesting to see if the US version of 60 Minutes has it as well . . .

    "Recruited Tom Cruise" ?????

Can't wait to see the show!

I don't believe that Marty was the one who recruited Tom Cruise though.

I believe he was recruited by Mimi Rodgers.

Yes it was Mimi....then she blew not too long afterwards.

Another example of lazy, inept journalism. I'm sure Marty told them that he "recovered" Tom Cruise and was his personal auditor for about six months or so, which is true.

But that doesn't sound "sexy" enough for a promo. So its "the man who recruited Tom Cruise".

Imagine if Marty had told them, "I helped to recover Tom Cruise after he blew."

The soundbite would've then been, "The man who blew Tom Cruise". :hysterical:

Marty must be loving this, he can do interviews and say what he wants because he isn't the plaintiff.

A very good point. This will be the first time I will see Marty while agreeing wholeheartedly with his perspective.
