I thought that article was poor. The author (Alyssa Rosenberg) basically says the film mocks Scientology and Scientologists and that if people were really serious about helping Scientologists leave the cult they would be more respectful of them and their beliefs and that our empathy would help them leave.

I LOLed. Ms. Rosenberg apparently has never met any actual Scientologists.

:roflmao:

She needs to clear the word 'mock'.

My thoughts too! And I just posted another interview with Gibney and he is soooo respectful! He even talks about making a point to be respectful! She just wrote that article without doing any research and condemned them as mocking without looking at what interviews they did. Click bait for the Washigton Post -meh

i suppose any articles are to be appreciated but I know too much to respect her lack of research when so much is easily available to read via a simple Google search. And sure, the Bunker makes light of photos, videos and say the Sunday funnies but who else has done more for the seriousness of disconnection?

I need to to let it go but it really irked me..hope she takes the time to see Tony's posts today.. Nothing mocking about today or yesterday's articles!

Well, Kirstie Alley 'disconnected' from her former Dancing With The Stars partner, Maksim Chmerkovsky, when he was photographed hanging out with notorious SP, Leah Remini.

KA immediately unfollowed him on Twitter. Link here for details: http://www.people.com/article/maksim-chmerkovskiy-kirstie-alley-dwts-feud

So let's see if Kirstie Alley unfollows Lisa Marie Presley on Twitter.

JB

I never liked her anyway. She and Juliette Lewis might be the biggest assholes among all scn celebs.:bong:

* * * * * BEGIN EXCERPT * * * * *

I believe there are two things Miscavige will be concerned about following the deluge on Sunday night that was the leading edge of a category 4 shitstorm making a direct hit on his gilded beachhouse.

His first concern: shore up Tom Cruise.

His second concern is for the big donors.

This morning on my way to work I was listening to a local sports talk show station. The morning show is two guys who banter back and forth as they talk about the latest in the sports world.

One them all of sudden asks his sidekick if he's watched that Scientology documentary yet on HBO. LOL!!

The sidekick said, "No man not yet but I can't wait! I've heard that it is very interesting and mind blowing".

The first guy then replied that it's good to finally find out what Scientology is all about because one thing he's noticed is that actual Scientologists won't tell you what it is. LOL!!! That they always have a way of not really answering questions. LOL!!

He then told his buddy, "Just wait til you see what's up with Tom Cruise and John Travolta in that film. It will blow your mind!!"

This was a local Austin sports talk show!! This thing is truly viral!!

Hey Slappy.....It's Balls to the Wall time beyatch!!!

"Activists Are Clear On One Thing: Scientology Better Start Paying Taxes" - on TakePart written by Jennifer Swann
Link to entire article here: http://www.takepart.com/article/2015/03/31/going-clear-petition

HBO's revealing documentary Going Clear is reigniting a storm of criticism aimed at the Church of Scientology and driving a new petition seeking to have its tax-exempt status as a religious institution revoked.

The whitehouse.gov petition was launched independently about a week ahead of Going Clear's premiere on Sunday night. It has since gained traction on social media, with the documentary's filmmaker, Alex Gibney, tweeting the link on Tuesday and stars such as Mia Farrow calling for an end to the "thuggish, dangerous, cruel cult."
