I think that meditation should not be separated from living. That seems to imply that I need to top-up my meditation if the going starts to get tough, and it then becomes mechanical or comparative, mindfulness seems the appropriate word, being aware of my reactions in full and completely without interference or interpretation. ...
It's true that being "mindful" (doing whatever you're doing but being aware that you're doing it) should be done all the time, but there's also the meditation practices themselves such as Dynamik and Kundalini that are often done in the morning and evening, respectively. I should do more of both.

Great OP, Helena. It sounds like a terrific seminar and you sound just great.

Personally, I like the short little ten-minute meditation exercises in the book, "The Mindful Path to Self Compassion" that Lotus recommended a while ago in another thread. http://www.forum.exscn.net/showthre...&highlight=mindful+path+self-compassion+lotus

Ten or 15 minutes' meditation is about my limit, or it feels too much like sleep or self-hypnosis. The book and meditations may not be for everybody, but for me, it has been a real life-changer and got me moving in a positive direction.
