OH! I just had a cognition! The "EP"s (End Phenomenons) are all written right on the Grade Chart! It's the "Cogs" (cognitions) of the levels that you attest to!

We used to joke about OT-8. You open the folder to read, "OT-TR-0, and this time do it right."

Every level properly done contains "Now knows who he/she is not and (interested in finding/ready to find) out who he/she really is."

That's true for me too, Ted.
I sometimes liken travelling the Bridge to running a very arduous obstacle course.
You end up back where you started, the key difference between being at the Start Line and arriving at the Finish Line is that you now know you can do it. I've written about this elsewhere on ESMB.

It seems unlikely that OT VII could actually raise people's chances of getting cancer. It just also seems very unlikely that it does anything to lower those chances. People on OT VII are probably older, it seems, just because of how long it takes to reach that level, so their incidence of cancer may be higher just because of this — cancer rates rise with age.

It's also possible that people who know they have cancer, or other serious health problems, are somewhat more motivated to start and stick with a program that promises eternal benefits. So this might make for a higher cancer rate among OT VIIs, but it wouldn't be caused by the program itself.

The point of course is still just that OT levels do not guarantee health.

I think that OT VII may very well have a lot to do with their having cancer.

With the levels before S/NOTs, you could do a level or two, then "drop off the radar" for a while. While off the radar, you could be far away from reges and "mandatory meetings". You could even move, change your number, and neglect to tell Scientology about it.

In short, you could have a chance to rest.

On S/NOTs, you seem to be continually harassed non-stop. You have to stay in comm with Flag (or else). You get all these reg calls (and visits), and incessant demands to contribute money for this or that.

It adds up to YEARS of non-stop STRESS, which can be a major contributing factor for health issues.

I agree PWC! The main problem i see is the complete disconnection from the medical area. Why the Solo Nots Auditors do not go to the doctor more often? Because they are "taught" that they can handle anything and everything in session!

Plus, if they are sick = PTS = find the SP! Why then do you need a doctor?

What for? The "Tech" will handle everything, isn't?

Somebody who is under stress and not seeing his doctor will ignore symptoms until it's long past the treatable stage.

I respectfully disagree. These OT VIIs have their names all over the 'net as "completions" for the cults highest levels, and probably have "I am a Scientologist" pages and cult stuff all over their wise businesses, etc.

Little Maria Totellini has a right to see the whole truth, not just the cult PR if she googles grandmas name.

As far as medical confidentiality, sorry but if they already have cancer I am sure their insurance company knows it already too and we are not bound by HIPPA.

The way I found out the truth about scientology was because I googled my own name and it came up on OCMB. I would never have gone looking for "entheta" about scientology but when I found OCMB I couldn't stop reading and found out what happened to lots of my friends who disappeared because their names were there too.

LadyBird, I totally agree with you. If someone's name is on the net as a completion of Scamology services......then by all means, the truth needs to be known. Besides, who wants their legacy to go down in history as a Scientologist?????? Ewwwwwwwww!! that's like saying I was a gullible, total fucking idiot, brainwashed and scammed by a con artist. I think as more people speak out.......more will be willing to stand up and be counted as EX scientologists..
