If, as he proclaimed, L. Ron Hubbard had indeed transcended body death, why didn’t he return to finish his work of planetary clearing? After all, it’s a billion year commitment to achieving the aims of scientology that all Sea Org members make. And the motto of the Sea Org is “We Come Back.”

Just imagine how much attention it would get and how many people would be clamoring to be involved with scientology and go Clear if L. Ron Hubbard (or any Sea Org member) did in fact return with full recall of his most recent past life? It would be relatively easy to test and prove. He should be able to ace any such test. And in doing so, Hubbard would go a long way towards accomplishing what he said he set out to do –save mankind. He would prove that his discoveries work and millions, tens or hundreds of millions of people would clamor for a technology that could conquer death. It would make the clamor for a new iPhone look like a joke. Everyone would become a scientologists and mankind would be saved from the reactive mind and the psychiatrists and all the other ills that plague it and a cleared planet would be in hand.

In that context, why is it that L. Ron Hubbard has not manifested himself in a new body? He has “more important” things to do out there in “Target Two”? That is NOT what Keeping Scientology Working and other things he wrote say. Scientology on planet earth is the only hope for the entire UNIVERSE. And it is failing to live up to its stated aims. Is he willing to let the entirety of humanity and the future of mankind and this universe founder when he could simply save it all by demonstrating what he claimed he was able to do?

Mike Rinder challenges Scientology beliefs, again

Just noticed that former Scientology spokesman Mike Rinder has a particularly strong piece today that looks at pronouncements by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard which have been demonstrated to be “ridiculous.”

And he asks, why hasn’t Hubbard returned, as he predicted? If Scientology really could conquer death, as it claimed, it would be plainly demonstrated and in no time at all the entire world would be clamoring to join.

For people who were never in Scientology, these might seem like obvious questions to ask. But for a Scientologist — particularly one as prominent and popular as Mike Rinder — it’s pretty earthshaking for him to confront his fellow former church members with such questions.

And just a couple of days, that is, after Mike’s former pal, Marty Rathbun, included Rinder’s blog on a list of “fora” he dismissed as parts of an “anti-Scientology cult.”

If anyone had any questions about where Rinder stands on Scientology belief, they just got their answer.

Hubbards stat on people "coming back" AKA The Sea Org Motto suck. Interestingly his stat and DM's stat are money into SO reserves.

I'd say Hubbard and his alter ego brainchild Scientology has overall devastated more people than he has helped people.

One of those blindingly obvious questions you can't ask if you're in the church...

Kind of like where do my donations go?

Or what can we do about Miscavige?

Or where is shelly, heber, etc.?

Why are the clear OTs so ordinary?

What's with this golden age of squirreling?

Mike Rinder has a related post up today: Training For The Future

http://www.mikerindersblog.org/training-for-the-future/

* * * * * BEGIN EXCERPT * * * * *

But, like the earlier post about the Mechanisms of Death, it certainly begs the question: If this is true, where are the auditors who have come back to a subsequent life and retain the scientology training they once learned? As far as I know, no such auditor has ever appeared. You can be sure scientology would be screaming from the rooftops and have the SuMP cranking if there were such a person. It would be a sensation that would definitely cause more people to do auditor training.

[SNIP]

Back in the 50’s or 60’s or even 70’s, one could be forgiven for not giving this much thought. Most people involved in scientology were young and “dropping the body” was not a subject that warranted time and energy. But now, nearly 70 years on, close to the normal span of life, there have been thousands of trained auditors (let alone OT’s, including OT VIII’s who have cured their amnesia of the whole track) who have passed away.

Not one has been able to demonstrate the assertion that their training is for eternity?

One problem is the complete illogic of the premise. If you cannot recall the language skills you had in a previous life or how to perform calculus or make a cheesecake, why would learning how to operate an e-meter or do TR’s be any different? It’s a conceit that is simply accepted — training as an auditor in scientology is SO valuable it will be remembered into future lives.

So, where are the past life auditors stepping up to the plate?

Fort heaven's sake. Don't you remember his final message - he's not coming back as a tech figure, but as a politician! He also commented on how time is the easiest aspect of MEST to control.

So who might he be? Let me see: red hair, prone to bombastic utterances, very convincing to certain kinds of people, obsession with money... No, I can't think of anyone.

Never mind.

Scientology doesn't work, so L. Ron Hubbard ain't coming back from the dead

On re-typing the title, I realized Christians ( well many of 'em ) believe Jesus arose from the dead - but only after 3 days & he wasn't roasted after body death either.

One other guy in the Bible was raised ( maybe ? ) by Lazurith ( spelling ). isn't nearly as well played as Jesus the Christ.

Anyway, scn doesn't work. Can't work. Won't work. I talked to too many class 6 auditors or class 8 auditors that were just, well, whacko, to be impressed with training.

And, yee Gads, on the processing side - ot3's that can barely tie their shoes, can't make a living for themselves & speak in gibberish. Well, jump on up to ot8s & Holy Toledo - what a fruit cake package that bunch is - diverting hurricanes to save Flag & getting on the phone to file BK over borrowing to do " services " - really an ethical group ?

Well, when somebody sees something impressive in scientology, let me know as reflecting on some 3 decades of it all I can figure is DAMN, I was stupid !

The premise of Mikes question is absurd. The essential claims of Hubbards scientology are demonstrably fraudulent.

Produce just one "clear" with perfect recall.

Give us a single "OT" who can verify under scientific scrutiny that they can "exteriorize" from their body.

Rinder could be asking, 'If Scientology works, why hasn't any Scientologist ever proved it?'

The premise of his question is: "IF SCIENTOLOGY WORKS....."

Why would that be absurd?

It seems like quite a lovely premise, lol.

Another example:

IF SCIENTOLOGY WORKS,
WHY HAS NO SCIENTOLOGIST
SINCE 1950 USED THEIR WHOLETRACK
RECALL TO REMEMBER AN INVENTION, DEVICE
TOOL OR MACHINE OF ANY KIND--SUCH AS A COMPUTER
A MOBILE PHONE, THE INTERNET OR LIFE SAVING MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY?

Another example:

IF SCIENTOLOGY WORKS,
WHY ARE YOU READING THIS?
WHY DOES ESMB EVEN EXIST?
WHY WOULDN'T POWERFULLY
SCARY OTS USE THEIR SUPER-POWERS
TO ERADICATE SPS AND SP WEBSITES?

Re: Mike Rinder: If Scientology works, why hasn't L. Ron Hubbard returned from the de

Hubbard coming back was old baloney. It's been replaced with new baloney, like they're reducing crime rates in entire countries and warning millions about the dangers of drugs and the evil psychs.

For a while the Jehovah's Witnesses kept setting specific dates on the day Jesus was coming back. Then they stopped. It wasn't helping stats.

Scientologists create their own realities and their powerz and potential are limitless. OTs just don't find parking places for themselves, they find parking places for all of mankind.

If Rinder had stayed in, in his mind he would have dropped that old baloney about Hubbard coming back by now, something which he probably really believed at one time. As limited as Scientologists are about being stuck with the tech, selling Dianutty even if they haven't read it, and policies about telex use or archiving of precious Scientology "scripture," they're willing to be flexible about personal goals.

More than ever, Scientologists, while solving all the problems in the world, want to become millionaires, and the ones who are millionaires want to become billionaires. The ones who don't have money enjoy pretending that while they may have less education than they would have hoped, or they are not quite as smart as they would like to be, or they haven't helped as many people as they wish they could, Scientology has done all that for them.
