Subject: 2009 - Recovered with the Basics - where is he now?

Location – Spokane, Washington – recovered onto the Basics in 2009…

Max was recovered to The Bridge in December 2009. He was retired and
living in Washington State and had not been in Scientology for 30 years.
He started in Scientology in 1966 at the age of 27. He was LA Org staff
from 1968 to 1972. He was the lead LA PRO and emcee at the huge
Scientology Grand National Convention in Los Angeles in 1969. After that
he went to the Apollo and did the Flag Executive Briefing Course in
1971. He got his Ls there and his Case Supervisor for L11 was LRH
himself. He later on ran into some suppression in his life and fell off
The Bridge until last year.

We got an FSM to bring him the Basics Release DVD and he loved that,
commenting many times how COB RTC pointing out that we are not stupid
had blown so much charge for him. He told me that he could not count the
times over the years he had lain in bed at night regretting not being
connected to LRH and Scientology but not knowing what to do about it. He
ordered his first set of Basics materials immediately.

About a week later I called him and told him that I wanted to recruit
him for Las Vegas Ideal Org staff. I had a whole presentation for Max as
I had assumed such a recruit cycle could be lengthy. The first thing I
told him was I was interested in him joining the new Las Vegas Ideal Org
to see his reaction and he said, “Okay.” I said, “What do you mean –
‘okay’?” He said, “I mean okay, I want to do it!” It was midnight, but I
had a Class V org contract faxed to the same Scientologist who has
delivered the Basics DVD to Max and the FSM drove it over and Max signed
it immediately. When I asked Max how long he felt he would need for his
project prepare to arrive he said, “Oh, at least three to four days.” He
arrived four days later and was posted as the Central Files Officer at
the org.

He has been on post now for six months. He recently called me and told
me that he has been in Affluence on his post for ten weeks in a row and
that rejoining staff was the best thing he had ever done!

**Did you know? 107,000 individual Scientologists have availed
themselves of the full Basics Books and Lectures package. The
unprecedented donation discounts on all Golden Age Of Knowledge
Materials, including the 50% discount on the ADVANCED CLINICAL COURSE
lectures has been given a very small extension due to tremendous public
response. Call me now – I will help you with ANYTHING needed to avail
yourself of these priceless LRH works. **

affluence 10 weeks in a row

yeah, affluence for 10 weeks, then the pressure starts and you end up falsifying the stats and then comes the RPF.
What a load of BS:eyeroll:

At least he is not under the illusion that talking someone into working for his cult is going to be easy. Too bad he can't use that same awareness to find the door and leave.

Thanks for sharing this Pooks,

I found it interesting that they would put someone who had FEBC training, and worked once as an MC down in the back lines in CF. Out of the public eye. Maybe his age takes away the youth image da Fuhrer wants.

I loved the idea that they call this poor guy at midnight to recruit him for staff. Still up to the typical tricks. Get them while they are not thinking clearly.

Las Vegas is now at a national high for unemployment, 14%. Times are getting hard here. I wonder how these guys are actually surving.... beans and rice I guess.

He's an old timer, retired on Social Security, living in Las Vegas and dreaming of the losses of the past 30 + years. He was ripe for the pickins and agreeing to be posted in Central Files is about the best a retired 71 year old can offer that won't push him over the edge. It's a post many older staff and SO are put on. I feel sorry for the guy that he did not find the internet first.

THIS^^^^^^

The old dude probably has Alzheimer's ......he was probably very lonely and very depressed......so sad .........

Nevada org.......we're watching you.....

You better be nice to old dude and feed him well.........or else you may get an unexpected visit from the "Elder Abuse Protection Agency"........elder abuse is not taken lightly in this country and is a jail-able offense.

Here's a reminder of the LAW.....and if you harm old dude, expect a visit ......
Elder abuse is often defined as "a single, or repeated act, or lack of appropriate action, occurring within any relationship where there is an expectation of trust which causes harm or distress to an older person. There are several types of abuse of older people that are universally recognised as being elder abuse and these include:

* Physical: e.g. hitting, punching, slapping, burning, pushing, kicking, restraining, false imprisonment/confinement, or giving too much medication or the wrong medication;
* Psychological: e.g. shouting, swearing, frightening, blaming, ridiculing, constantly criticizing, ignoring or humiliating a person. A common theme is a perpetrator who identifies something that matters to an older person and then uses it to coerce an older person into a particular action;
* Financial: e.g. illegal or unauthorized use of a person’s property, money, pension book or other valuables (including changing the person's will to name the abuser as heir), often fraudulently obtaining power of attorney, followed by deprivation of money or other property, or by eviction from own home;
* Sexual: e.g. forcing a person to take part in any sexual activity without his or her consent, including forcing them to participate in conversations of a sexual nature against their will;
* Neglect: e.g. depriving a person of food, heat, clothing or comfort or essential medication.

Just a secondary thought......

Signs at protests asking if elder SO members are being abused, might wake up a few people.....especially if the phone numbers of elder abuse attorneys (if they are willing to represent ) or the Elder Abuse Protection Agency are prominently displayed on signs.

It's interesting that he admits to only 107,000 individual cult members buying the basics....That's probablly an inflated figure but if there are 8 MILLION cult members, why haven't they sold more?

Their numbers never add up.

It is too bad about this guy, Max. what an awful way to spend your retirement.

How sad. Bruce & Beth yanks their 2 children out of Delphi and puts them to work. Beth used to be president of The Earth Organization in Toluca Lake until Barbara Wiseman kicked her to the curb.

Except for the Airline attendant outfit, it looks like an ad to go to Vegas and get laid.

Look at her body language. And they put that V right between her crotch.

Yep, that's deliberate - just check out the earlier one with the two brothers, the LV is set flush right. Pretty sick behaviour pimping out your staff to lure the punters.
