The Russian have started some good work in regards to scientology. Now I hope they continue and set an example for the world of how to go about smashing scientology right out of history.

Bless their good hearts!

Parody of Mark A. Baker by Arnie

GW Bush, when the de facto head of government, was former head of CIA. His neo-cons still run the place based on their personal interests rather than a preeminent concern for liberal principles. In comparison to him, miscavige is chump change. Things have not improved for the Americans compared to the 'old days', but they still live under a repressive regime which has no qualms at suppressing any internal challenges to its perceived power base.

And here I thought W was just Cheney's sockpuppet; and I don't think either one of them had a preeminent concern for liberal principles. They ran the place for the benefit of the oil industry, killing many tens of thousands in the process. And the regime has not basically changed under Obama; witness the Justice Department's lack of interest in the criminal wrongdoings of the CoS. We still live under a repressive regime which has no qualms at suppressing any internal challenges to its perceived power base. The Occupy Wall Street protesters are being arrested in substantial numbers, aren't they?

Having friends from Russia, I think Mark was not that far off in what he posted.

I thought of one more thing regarding the Moscow raid of Scientology. OF COURSE no one would give them the key. Would YOU want to explain to your senior that YOU turned over the key to the courseroom, etc? A trip to the MAA for sure.

From the individual's point of view, better to say/do nothing and let the police bash the doors in. At least, YOUR name doesn't get connected to the raid.

The way Scientology is set up, cover-your-own-ass is the logical response. It leads Scientology victims of all kinds to choose the course of action least likely to slow their progress up the 'Bridge', and least likely to delay their progress up the 'Bridge' by costing them money they can't afford to pay.

This is why Scientologists are so ineffectual: they have no initiative. In the fast-evolving world of the 21st century, Scientologists are clearly an endangered species. They simply haven't adapted (still locked in the Hubbardian daydreams of the Cold War, and their 'Plan 9 From Outer Space' view of the cosmos) and they won't take any sort of risk.

Works for me! Scientology is the Passenger Pigeon of pseudoreligions.

By now, the 2 doors have been fixed and more books than ever before have been shipped in.

No org would have an incomplete library in the office of LRH.

In Russia do they the office of LRH stocked with books in English or Russian ?
( Either way it is stupid to stock an office for a dead man ).
