Once again we agree. I battled that generality for years. Too bad Scientology is condemned to live in the past that Hubbard wrote into the dogma doomed to perpetual blind obedience despite the fact that society, the culture and the field of Psychology have changed much since the 50's.

For a body of technology that purports itself to be rocket scieince this continual A=A rag on other mental science seems to resemble more of a superstition than anything else.

There was a time, in my brief Scio career (8 years total), where David Groberg (who went on to do the briefing course), a psychologist, Sarge Gerbode, (who did the Vlll course) a psychiatrist, and maybe ten or fifteen other psychology oriented professionals were on course or getting auditing at Santa Clara, Palo Alto, or Los Gatos.

The assholeship of the church leader(s) wasn't quite so intense in the hinterlands during the late 60 and early 70s. Ron nearly did an interview with a guy from Psychology Today (a magazine).

1972 letter from Sara Northrup to author Paulette Cooper. This letter was found in a file cabinet in a Scientology Org, after the issuing of search warrants by the FBI, in 1977. It had been stolen from Paulette Cooper's apartment, in New York, some years earlier by Scientology.

Normally, I do.

However, a friend of mine recently happened to see Space Station 3D, an IMAX movie in 3D about the International Space Station, including scenes moving through the space station with a real sense of perspective. It's narrated by Cruise, and my friend said it was quite a fabulous film.
