Will Smith as well. He and his kids have been used as a poster-family by CoS in attempts to recruit in the Caribbean; the magazine I saw was designed for Santa Domingo. Argument is: Study Tech makes even poor black kids smart, rich and famous.
That made me sick to my stomach.
Mr Smith visited Brixton in London the other day and smiled at all the poor little black kids there. They loved it. Whadya bet TWTH is the next gift to Brixton? As it has been in Colombia and Aruba? Dorry, I know this is tending off topic but it seems CoS is targetting black people wherever they find them.

Thank you for this message SOF....one of the reasons I loved Andrew Morton's unauthorized biography of Tom Cruise was because it made me understand exactly how manipulative the cult can be. I think that book is underrated in the pantheon of anti-Scientology literature. Most people think it is a book about Tom and his movies, but as I recall, at least half of that book is about Scientology. It was through Morton's book that I understood why Cruise, at the level of OT VII/VIII would be on a serious recruiting mission. It was obvious from his wedding list: David and Victoria Beckham (enrollment in England and Europe), Jennifer Lopez (father Scientologist, but friendly with Cruise, she'll bring in the Latino contingent), Will and Jada Smith (blacks worldwide), Jim Carrey (who the fuck knows?), and on and on. Even his decision to make Valkyrie, which seemed like a weird choose at the time, was obvious a ploy to seduce German politicians who were against Scientology by playing one of their heroes.
It makes sense to me that a cult that looks for a person's individual ruin, would now prey, as it faces extinction, on a community's "ruin"; in other words, start marketing to the areas where people are depressed, or where there is joblessness and poverty. Somebody better give David Miscavige a head's up before more black people get there. I've said it before, they may get a few more blacks in the Sea Org, but I find it hard to believe that brothas, especially ones who have come from the street, are going to let COB slap the shit out of them for dropping a paper clip. DM tried it with Jesse Prince, tried to put him in the RPF after he wouldn't betray Pat and Annie Broeker, and when DM and his thugs came, Jesse got a gun, he got two in fact, and threaten to blow every motherfucker's brains out that was in the room. So, we'll see how that goes down.
Scientology, so far, has been a very white, very privileged organization. Poor people don't have a chance. You can go up The Bridge on food stamps, and Medicaid, whether you are black or white. So much for an organization that cares about people. I've never understood the logic- don't people in the organization realize that the planet will never be cleared if it costs tens/hundreds of thousands of dollars? None of it makes sense.
I am thankful for this thread. I never thought of NOI as a cult until now. Strange to think that Scientology would need credibility from NOI and not the other way around. But it seems like such a desperate marriage. A group that preaches about white devils, suddenly decides to court a church created by one of the biggest white devils of them all?
