For years, Michelle LeClair, former President of Scientology’s international humanitarian organization, tried to reconcile her sexual orientation with the anti-gay ideology of the church. Michelle finally ends her horrific marriage, finds the love of her life, a woman, and ultimately leaves the Church. But the split comes at a terrible price. Her once pristine reputation is publicly dragged through the mud, the police raid her home, her ex-husband tries to gain full custody of their children, and the multi-million dollar business she built from scratch is utterly destroyed. In her tell-all memoir, Michelle offers an insider’s perspective on Scientology’s pervasive influence, secret rituals, and ruthless practices for keeping members in line. Michelle LeClair answers Norman B’s questions about her memoir, Perfectly Clear: Escaping Scientology and Fighting for the Woman I Love.

Elder abuse, nearly as low as child abuse. This lady is really a live wire and a big operator!
It's interesting to me to see the hoops that one jumps thru when they 'confess' to an auditor, or an EO.Elder abuse, nearly as low as child abuse.
There's a word for people who realize, in their 40s, that they're gay and leave their families. It's called FLAKEIt's interesting to me to see the hoops that one jumps thru when they 'confess' to an auditor, or an EO.
I have known a number of scn"ists who have reached the highest level of training and processing, who have held important posts in the Org, and who were Gay.
When I was 'in', if some aspect of being homosexual didn't come up , then the subject was not addressed.
Apparently, if it is known about, the gay person will be sec checked until they run out the door.
WTF are you talking about? There's a word for people who realize, in their 40s, that they're gay and leave their families. It's called FLAKE
Actually, all of Michelle LeClair's children are with her. She left only her Scientologist husband. There's a word for people who realize, in their 40s, that they're gay and leave their families. It's called FLAKE
My bad. I was speaking more in general thoughActually, all of Michelle LeClair's children are with her. She left only her Scientologist husband.
Looks like she scammed a lot of old people and is now using her LGBT status to sell a book to a calculated niche market. Gee, I wonder how many churches out there would encourage a married woman to explore her sexuality through adultery? What a scandal! There are much more interesting books out there by ACTUAL whistleblowers.WTF are you talking about?
Your posts contain so much CERTAINTY that it makes me believe you're still a Scientologist.

As to my certainty, let's just say I'm old enough to know the type. I suppose it takes all kinds to make the world go round, and maybe we need slippery, big-thinking promoter/scammer types like LRH, but it doesn't mean I have to approve of them just because they left the Cof$.
Really? I don't think I agree with that statement. There's a word for people who realize, in their 40s, that they're gay and leave their families. It's called FLAKE
