Great interview!
She is amazing! Scientology is not amazing. A better description might be hideous cult monstrosity.
I may have missed it, but I don't ever recall reading an Indie Scientologist roundly condemning Hubbard for being a despicable criminal for a multi-long crime wave against this innocent woman for simply having told the truth. Yes, I have seen some occasional light wrist tapping ("Oh that Ron, he was so up tone he sometimes over did his game playing a little bit", wink wink).
More typically, if I direct a conversation to that, I hear: "Jeez, Ron has been dead 26 years!"
But his policies are not dead and neither are the insane criminals in the CoS today who continue to follow those evil "source" scriptures.
Come on Indies, suck it up and let's hear how independent your thoughts and voice really are. I hear a deafening silence on this one.
Editing Note to Mark Bunker: The copy scroll at the beginning of the clip is neutralized by the Paulette's voice over. They cancel each other out so the dramatic impact of her story is lost unless you happen to know it. I realize this is a teaser trailer, but I love the work you do too much not to mention it.

From the Affidavit of Tanja Burden
http://www.lisamcpherson.org/burden.htm:
"
At the Fort Harrison I remained LRH's personal messenger. I observed LRH control the operation of Scientology in various 'Orgs' worldwide from the Fort Harrison. I coded and decoded messages to and directly from Hubbard. Hubbard used approximately 15 codes at this time to conceal his operations, programs, and policies, which he disseminated worldwide. I personally delivered messages concerning Operation Snow White, Operation Freak Out, and other Scientology secret and illegal operations. I also filed these in Hubbard's personal filing cabinet..."
Re. the Tanja Burden Affidavit, Marty Rathbun, on 3 November 2010, on his blog, had this to say, "
This is utter crap," while at the same time attributing any actions against Paulette Cooper to "
suppressive squirreling" occurring behind Hubbard's back.
Schwimmel Puckel, in a 9 February 2011 post, had these observations:
"
I quite sure that Hubbard directed this personally... But I can't prove it. But it was/is well known that even as Mary Sue and Jane Kember held those posts they did, nothing was done without Ron overlooking, approving and/or ordering it.
"
I never met the man in person. I was in the Guardian's Office Europe 1979 to mid '81. Well, we had telexes clattering in from 'Ron' all the time. He was very much into anything the GO did, was my impression.. And we carefully cut the corner that said 'Ron' off of the slips before archiving. No document were to expose Ron as a leader or executive authority of anything anywhere."

Note: The above short video consists of clips from two '60 Minutes' programs, about fifteen years apart. The first - longer - segment - is from 1980; the latter - shorter - segment, concerning "C.A.N.," is from the mid 1990s.
To complete the series, here's a segment of the mid 1980s '60 Minutes' program with Heber Jentzsch and Earle Cooley:

Just noticed this, and it should be tacked on to this post, as the above video features Attorney Earle Cooley. Marty Rathbun writes about his friend, Earle Cooley, and the good old days:
