It was an abortion if you look at the results as of now.
It was all theory and ideas about a business for crying out loud.
I have some credibility for commenting having done the OEC/FEBC. However
I have little other business training except in sales, a field I worked in for sometime.
I consider much of admin to be excellent. But I also consider there are serious flaws.
I think the major one is altered importance. There is no particular heirachy
of importance in the green on white. Unless, IMO, you discern and create one from understanding the general area.
Then there is just too much of the stuff.
This reinforces the fact of no heirachy of importance. Every div or post
uses their policy and often gets into opposition with others using theirs.
And you get a mix highly inducive to " office politics".
Then there is the interference of the various networks overloading personell. Recognised by an important eval, but apparently rampant today
under DM.
Another key point is that REALLY important policies in this climate get reversed. With an SP in charge, humanity itself gets reversed.
Personally I would rewrite KSW 1, and reduce its importance greatly. The
important principles are already embedded in the tech. Which of course is senior to the policy.
Basics such as good comm, rejection of entheta comm, granting of beingness, service PL, first PL, and senior policy should be emphasised and made into policy if not already done so, and these be put into the first
pages of any course whether admin or tech. These if placed foremost would prevent the abuses in the SO. Well I think thats a reasonable theory anyway.
This is perhaps best illustrated by First Policy, " Maintain friendly relations with the environment and the public."
I need not point out how seriously this is applied reversely. Its why we are here.
I don't know exactly how the Missions applied green on white. I expect
with intelligence. They wished to give people service that people wanted, and get a fair exchange for that I guess.
Marketing and selling an intangible such as scientology/ philosophy takes great skill.
Selling a BMW is much easier.
