We could always crank up the mimeo, but, I think the guys over in Publications sniffed all the ink.

Hi Guys, so many of you to quote to thank but you are all great in your own ways..someof you I do wonder about your sanity!! lol
...snip...
So thats me for now i guess. Unless I suddenly remember anything else, or if my memory gets jogged!

This place is better than counselling! how funny. I just want to say thanks to you all for being here. My life in scn was short (as a staff member) but forever as a partner.
You guys do wonders I dont even care about my story now ive told it to real people who get it. It's gone. It doesn't bother me.
Wish there was a place for all our other 'life' problems!
Thanks guys.
welcome to our world. one of my friends told me that he thought everyone he met that was a scio was 'injured' in some way.
the not loved, or have nots also fall easily imo to the injured category.
I think 'damaged' would be more appropriate.

Depends on the person.
I have been asked in a PM to explain what a 'quicksilver; is. Now as you will know my knowledge of scn is very limited but what I don know is that the poilcy was pointed out to me by the CS at the Org.
I did explain to the person that it basically means a staff member leaving their post before a new person is hatted properly.
But as I have no wish to own any policies - not even to prop open doors - I cant give any more details.
could anyone help me out here? is my description correct???
Thanks:confused2:

Hi Paul,Yes, it's fine. I remember the policy when it came out, called "Doing a Quicksilver Forbidden", I believe, and the word was not known before that point.
I don't remember it changing anything much, except that ripping people off post unreplaced now had a nice label to attach to the practice if some senior way up the line wanted to toast the mid-level senior concerned. And if they didn't, well, make it go right.

Hi Quickied. Thank you for sharing your story. I'm sure you belong here, sometimes I wonder if I do since I'm on of the never-been-in's, but everyone here has been nice and not booted me out yet . I know I've learned a lot by being here, I lurk a lot, lol.
