Just over looking at Marty's blog. Reading the comments re Tom Cruise auditing being taped has me shaking my head. They are all astounded, ASTOUNDED, that any private auditing files were ever read by DM, let alone read out to DM's drinking buddies and laughed over. They claim to be overwhelmed by the idea that any auditing session was ever videotaped.

Surely to god these people aren't that naive? They must have read the recent releases to the media by CO$ reporting the "crimes" of people like Ann and Mike, details of which came from their auditing folders. Yet they seemed to be really upset by the idea that Tom Cruise's auditing sessions were taped and filmed, let alone made fun of by DM.

Comment after comment is shocked and shaken that DM could do such a thing!

And what about Marty? Wasn't he involved for years with putting out black PR containing nasty details from the personal files on people who blew? Now he is saying the confidentiality of the auditing session is the basis of Scientology and must be absolute.

Odd, very odd.....

Seems that most on Marty's blog are out quite recently. They thus havn't had the years of knowledge that the likes of me and others have.

Also the fact that DM greedily grasps the auditing tapes of celebrities
and laughs about them with cronies is pretty new.

That OSA uses all files against percieved enemies is not new. That DM uses them as whisky fueled entertainment is new.

Its my thought that many of these on Marty's forum never contacted the FZ because of years, decades of black PR re " Squirrels." Marty was quite wary of me for example although we got on very well.

Remember also the audience for Marty's blog includes non-Scn media types picking up on the latest celeb gossip. Marty doesn't water down the Scn lingo for them, but he gets quoted in places like Gawker.com just the same.

Tom Cruise was secretly videotaped as he spilled his guts in Scientology confessional sessions, and those tapes became fodder for Scientology cocktail party humor ... this according to a high-profile and former high-level member of Scientology.

Mark Rathbun says in his blog, he recorded Cruise during the confessional sessions and Scientology guru David Miscavige read the transcripts at parties, "joking and laughing" at them.

Rathbun says the video was "well-concealed" in the VIP auditing room, per orders of Miscavige. Rathbun says Miscavige ordered him to prepare transcripts of the sessions. The, according to Rathbun, Miscavige would hold late night whiskey parties, reading the transcripts and laughing out loud.

The nature of Tom's alleged confessions were not disclosed.

Hmmmm....the "leader" of Scamintology drinks Scotch late at night, cackles over the transgressions of celebrities, is unsessionable due to alcohol intake, and shuns auditiing anyway. Not OT8. Hmmm...I think he is due for a fall. The Humpty Dumpty variety.

1. Some of us who read there were out before videotaping occurred.
2. Some are newer and never suspsected it.
3. Some were never Scns.
4. Some are still in and haven't been on the right posts on staff, so they weren't cleared for the knowledge.

Let's stick some dates in.

In the late 80s I first became aware of videotaping sessions for technical inspection by seniors. This was at New World Corps, where the new Senior Sec Checker Course was being piloted. All HSSC interns had to get a video pass from RTC before they graduated. It was VERY tough, and a big win when one graduated. The video set-up was a large and obvious camera, usually with a separate monitor and VCR, sometimes with a built-in VHS casette. The pc's permission was obtained before the session. The recording could not be done covertly like that, although I suppose a 2-way glass mirror could have been used.

At that time videos were also used for Pro TR course passes at NWC, although the videos didn't go uplines but only to the Senior C/S NWC.

Anyone know if videotaping was much in use before this time?
