Fractals Have a Part in This
I saw a program on "Fractals" again last night. It was on the "Nova" series on PBS. Title of the piece was: "Hunting the Hidden Dimension."
Nice, appropriate title for what we are dealing with on this thread, no?
Anyway, our Vin would have loved the piece as the subject of fractals is based on mathematics.
What I was observing was that fractals are akin to harmonics, harmonic resonance, and the compounding of effect by reinforcement (or addition).
Such reinforcement resulting from harmonic resonance can have quite colossal effects.
On November 7, 1940, the Tacoma Narrows Suspension Bridge was destroyed as a result of overwhelming resonance set up by a steady wind.

The program last night showed how the compounding of tiny fractal images builds up to quite colossal scenarios.
I also observe this in the context of the compounding of spiritual life-force emanations.
PS: I just found a link for those interest on the subject of harmonic resonance here entitled:
All you have to do is click on the "VoD" symbol to the right of the page beside the item and it will play for free for you.
This a wonderful video that is part of the on-line college course in physics at Caltech. It's in layman's language, so don't panic. It's a wonderful half-hour of good info. You'll actually see harmonic resonance at work in music, also to shatter glass, and you'll see the famous bridge above going into its leaps and collapse.

Also, for those interested, I recommend actually doing all 52 of the videos of the course.

Why a swaying bridge collapses with a high wind, and why a wine glass shatters with a higher octave.
