You can leave your comments. Maybe she hasn't heard about the violence, OSA or the missing.... Don't rant or they won't print it but it may be a good way to get word to her. Have at it!

I'm having trouble with your link. Here is another:

Personally, I find this article to be quite a stretch on the author's part but, it is possibly a door.

Somehow, I doubt she'll read this article. Actually, I have emailed her on her site more than once about Scientology. The last time I did was when she did a show that was really supportive of mental health issues...if she's a Scio, then she must have gone through MAJOR handling for that one... so, I'm guessing she probably isn't. I'm guessing she probably got roped into a session at some point, but I could be wrong. I have heard rumors that she was actually looking at starting her own religion...but, as I say, they were rumors, so I wouldn't put any stock in that.

Dear Ms. Winfrey: Scientology has many faces. The celebrity is wined and dined, coddled and cosseted. It is the determined object of the 'church' that celebrities never see the dark side of the movement. To this end they are sequestered in luxurious surroundings, appointed personal servants (though never designated as such), and those who attend them or direct them through the various channels, do so with smiles, naturalness, and a positivity that conciliates and comforts. But behind the gracious facade is the worker. There is no pampering for him/her. Harsh treatment, little money, no rights, and dicipline that often borders on the brutal, are the order of the day. These two opposite poles are so divergent one from the other, that most celebrities not only never see the dark side, but refuse to believe it exists even when presented with concrete evidence, so at variance with their own experience is it. There are horror stories, told with shock and dismay by those coming out of the cult, (yes it is a cult) after years of abuse. Hundreds and hundreds of accounts that the Cruises and Travoltas dismiss out of hand for whatever reasons of their own they have. But most importantly in your own case, there is an added factor that they never imagined existed. Your venture into the truths of Eckhart Tolle will show you eventually the utter incompatibility of Scientology with Tolle's teachings. In Tolle you learn that the seat of God is within. And he shows you how to get there in his second book. L.Ron Hubbard whose business it was to enslave while giving the appearance of freeing, knew it too. That's why he decried going inside, and made it a species of wrong doing. He called it 'interiorizing'. Getting hung up in your personal baggage occures according to Scientology teachings when you go inside. Only 'exteriorizing' is the way to freedom the cult teaches. To this end they can effect euphorias when going exterior that like drugs, firstly become addictive, and secondly guarantee never reaching the God essence. In Scientology spiritual counseling, which doubtless they will give you a sample of, it is the ego alone that feels good. The ego that experiences the euphoria. This is why no Scientology gains are ever permanent. The ego gets the gravy and the Being gets the beans...only the Being doesn't need therapy. Just reach it, guide it to God and let it go. In Scientology there is an endless process of getting the ego its jollies that never ends. As Tolle tells us the ego is never satisfied. Nor is the cult. More and more counselling (auditing) is always needed. i.e. more and more money. When your needle floats (on their meter,) let me advise you simply to zone in and see/feel if you are the one feeling good, or is it your ego. The 'tech' appears to work since it gratifies the ego that everyone thinks is them. But it doesn't. And the aims of Scientology are those of control and avarice, and nobody does it better. Thank you for your ear in this. faithfully, Reuben Hart, Tucson, Az. p.s. a cult is defined as a group that is apocalyptic (the world will end and we have the only salution to saving you) and those who leave are condemned and shunned. In Scientology it's called 'disconnecting'.
