Yes, IIRC, SHSBC is level V auditor.
(I did intern course sup on that over 40 years ago.)

Hate to be pedantic, but SHSBC graduates are Class VI Auditors. Except they aren't being made anymore.

I would be specifically interested in ASHO....

I was on the SHSBC for several years and on level O, next to last level, when the Golden Age of Tech 2 (?) came out. We were all routed over to CC to do the new Upper Indoc Course, Golden Age style...

Then back to ASHO.....then shortly after, the E-Meter Course came out Golden Age Style....and they wanted me to pay for that...which was around $10,000....and I said enough is enough and left. (of course the E-Meter Course is part of the BC....and I'd already done it...as were the Upper Indocs)

So basically they wasted around 3 years of my life....and over 10 thousand dollars of my money.

I wondered if the BC kinda fell apart after the Golden Age 2 came out...?

ASHO had just spent a fortune on remodeling the BC delivery area....

And the entire BC had been revamped Golden Age of Tech 1...with new course packs and "corrected Red Volumes.... and all....and announced at a big event....at the time I had already started it...

Actually, you're both right.

In the 1970's, at the time @programmer_guy mentions, Class V auditor meant you were halfway through the SHSBC. If you look at an old grade chart from that time you can see it on there. A Class VI was someone who'd completed the BC.

Until 1982, Dns came before Grades 0-IV. A Dn auditor was "unclassed," i.e. he had no number assigned. In 1982 the grade chart got switched around and they moved Dns after the grades. "Class V" now came to mean a Class IV auditor who was also a NED auditor.

here's an example of hubbard's certificates as mention in the grade chart.

let's say you achieved grade 1, new modern chart says ability to solve any problem and recognize the source of problems. WOW! What a certificate to have!

You walk into Microsoft and say you are a Grade 1 Certificate holder of Scientology, I can handle your problems. See, it says so, I'm a Grade 1 Completion.

Will you be escorted out the door silently and told thank you for applying for the job or will you be hired on the spot?
