Well, I am almost lost for words. Almost.
Liz, OEO and Jordi - I am so honoured to call you friends. With out you guys and a few others I wouldnt be who I am and where I am now - living a free, happy life. Having had the experiences with the church I feel I am a well informed individual, with the right people in my life to supprt me. I am greatful to have you guys in my life.
You spoke so well in the program.
Liz, I dont think I've ever seen you cry untill everything was going on getting Jordi out. James, I have never seen you cry untill watching you talk about the destress caused to your family through the church. I am so glad to see something being done in regards to the church.
To the team at four corners - I thought the program was very well put together. I loved that four corners stayed neutral, delivering the stories from the horses mouth and then giving Tommy Davis a chance to respond.
In saying that I thought it hillarious that as the spokes person for the CoS you'd think Tommy would have been a little more informed on the goings on in the church, or at least have had a prepared response to allegations of which these are not the first public occurances.
Tommy, I loved watching you stutter and stumble your way through the interview. I feel like watching it again to count how many times you say "I dont know". I also want to watch the part again where stuttering through I don't know's you say something along the lines of "I wouldnt tell". That was possibly my favourite bit.
I think that's all I have to say on this for now.
Thank you for speaking out, and telling a story that is sadly not just your own.

I reckon so too, and that was the plan. It's a joy to see the CofS and Scn exposed for what it is. Tommy helped us do that.....His PR capers on the various issues illustrated how the CofS works. Not long now.

If you look closely ...you`ll see his mouth moving.
It`s a dead give away.
I`m thinking of writing a rock opera about him.
Maybe a about a deaf , dumb and blind kid.
We couldn`t ask for a better spokesperson for the cult.

I don't know about everybody else, but it's difficult for me to even see Tommy Davis during interviews, period. His face, his voice, even his hair... everything about the man just upsets me greatly.

OSA's probably already thought of that and so is going to "brief" them on the doco before it goes to air so they can have their comments ready as soon as it's over.
Dunno how many "faithful" apart from SO members that'll go along with it without sneaking a peak or two, tho'.
I knew quite a few members who used to watch whatever was going on in the media against Scientology so not all of them keep away from the "entheta".

OK, nitpick over - that was professional, well researched and excellently edited. Any Australian politician who dares to vote in Parliament without having watched it deserves to be kicked by kangaroos and walloped by wallabies.
One point - I assume not including Senator Xenephon's ex-member witnesses was deliberate. What this documentary emphasises is they are not just a handful of people in Australia complaining, this is systematic abuse, corruption and lies worldwide.

I just watched the interview of Hana Eltringham Whitfield and I was so moved. She is amazing. Honest, dignified, graceful and very clear. I loved it.
I bet the CoS is just waiting for a chance to call her a liar, too.
