"

I went to the Pasadena Org yesterday to get my $2000 back that I had put on account. The place was packed. I had not seen it so busy in years. Mary Dolan was no longer there. I was told she moved on to the Dallas Org. The current executive director is Rona Bowles but she wasn’t there. I asked for the dissem sec and was introduced to Franz. He told me how much money was in my account and when I told him I wanted it back, he was a little taken aback and said that I needed to talk to a different person. He then disappeared for some time and I was chatting with an old ex Detroit staff member who was now on staff in Pasadena. He had over heard me and asked why I was leaving. I told him that the current management was evil and that he should read some of the interviews and information on the internet. He told me that his sister met DM and told him that he was a really nice guy. I insisted he wasn’t and that he should just read what is really going on. I waited around for almost an hour with no one helping me and finally told Franz that I was leaving and would return with my attorney to which he replied “Have fun”. I left and a short while later someone named Wayne called and didn’t leave a message. Then I got a text to call him. According the guy I was chatting with, he said that they have 160 staff members now. I don’t know where they got all the staff but the place was not empty. I saw one young guy doing the staff member new hat drills where you locate the org board and other various objects around the org. The Grand Opening is Sunday at 6:00 in their new building on Raymond and East Colorado. I saw the names of quite a few people I used to know who had donated their time or money to all of this. I only brought all this up because I have been reading about how all of the orgs are dead with no bodies in the shop and I have observed the same thing on Berendo Street at the AOLA and at the Pasadena Org. On Tuesday this week however it was crowded. Does anyone have an explanation for this? I would like to know. The bottom line is I just want my money back that has been sitting in my account now for two years and do not want to get a “free arcx session” or do a routing form to get it. It is my money and I want it back."

It's not surprising. Grand opening and all. It'll die back down when the people that aren't from that area go home.:D Stat pushes never stick. Minus CC that is...

Yah, DC org was a beehive of activity during Grand Opening week....just look at AnonSparrows vids now....8 to 10 public on a daily basis, if that.

I would say that over half of the people that showed up for the "Grand Opening" were from out of town, either New York, Florida or some place else.

They stat-push the hell out of these PR wise, as, after all, it is "Expansion"....gotta give the shills some bang for their buck.

Point of order, please? He said that AO, on Berendo Street, was empty???? The AO hasn't been on Berendo for about 3 decades.

It's my understanding that many staff wouldn't fit in their old quarters, not with public and all, so these are transfers specifically for this event. There's a pool they've been moving around to "boom" an ideal org's opening, then they move on to the next one.

AFAIK, Berendo was renamed L. Ron Hubbard Way on that block. When did it move from there? Or are you thinking of the old location near the Manor?

The standard routine in opening these Ideal Orgs has been to flood them with members from around the country. I recognized a number of publics from Clearwater and the New York org at the Hollywood opening.

I know that emails have gone out to members in the Southern California area stressing the importance of members to be involved in the preparation and actual Grand Opening of the Pasadena Org. Whether the crowd you saw in Pasadena were there of their own volition or they showed up because they feared retribution is something you have to decide yourself.

I did a drive-by today.

Damn, Meri (correct spelling) Dolan is in Dallas. Maybe I can finally get the money she owes me from about 1991 or 1992. I wonder what happened to the Aussie that was the ED of Pasadena Org? We lived across the street from each other before I left LA.

I gave Anonymous a great idea for the ideal org opening. But they probably won't do it since they don't care much for Marty. Oh, well.

Dean was there on OT Committee night when it is always full.... and empty every other night.

Dean's reknowned for being the top-flight computer whiz... maybe he can donate a computer virus to the new Org as a going away present. :coolwink:
